"U-Kai-lele" ist ein 2. Stock 2bed / 2bath, 6 Personen. Direkt am Strand in Cayman Kai. Im Patio zentral in der Anlage mit bestem Blick auf den Strand abgeschirmt. Minuten zum Rum Point. Kaibo Yacht Club Bar & Restaurant mit preisgünstigem Essen am Strand oder einem feinen kulinarischen Erlebnis auf dem Balkon im Obergeschoss. Ruhige Anlage, um dem Alltag zu entfliehen. Wir haben diesen Ort vor kurzem gekauft, nachdem wir uns einen Platz auf dieser Seite der Insel für 20 Jahre gewünscht hatten. Hier fliehen die wohlhabenden Kaimanier. Dies ist auch unser Feriendomizil, daher wurde besondere Sorgfalt darauf verwendet, dieses Erlebnis für jedes Familienmitglied angenehm und unkompliziert zu gestalten. Wir gehen gerne am Wochenende hoch, schauen den Kindern beim Spielen im Pool und am Strand von unserem Balkon aus zu. Abends sitzen wir draußen und schauen uns die karibischen Sonnenuntergänge an, während wir Margaritas mixen und frischen Fisch grillen. Kinder spielen Spiele oder schauen sich DVDs / Kabel an. Schritte zum einfachen Essen, Getränke und Wassersport. Extrem sichere und freundliche Umgebung für alle. Unsere jungen Mädchen gehen am Strand spazieren und gehen problemlos zum Mittagessen.

Great place!

Great place to stay in the Caymans! It is right on the beach and has a great pool as well. Quieter than 7 mile beach which we loved as that meant less tourists. The condo has all the things you could possibly need and there is a supermarket a short drive away. Highly recommend!

Perfect Vacation

Great stay for our family of 4. My kids loved every minute. Such easy snorkeling and exploring for young kids, and we loved being away from the hustle of the cruise ships. The condo itself was the best equipped condo I have ever stayed in, had everything we needed and more to enhance our stay and the property manager was was very responsive and accommodating with the questions I had. Already trying to figure out when we can come back!

Nice condo and area

We loved the location of this condo. Nice quiet side of the island. It was an older condo but it was clean and had all of the things that you would need for a nice vacation. Bikes and kayaks were provided which was a big plus for us.

Relaxing Getaway!

The pictures don’t do this place justice! The colors and beach decorations fit right in with the location. Water pressure is EXCELLENT! We didn’t eat out once, the kitchen has everything you need. We’ve been to Cayman 4 times in the year and will be rebooking here for our next trip. Great communication with the property owner/manager.

Wonderful vacation

Our vacation was the perfect combination of adventures and relaxation. We loved the location away from the crowds but in a beautiful area where we felt free to explore. Everyday we walked, ran, swam, biked and kayaked all over Rum Point area. The bikes, paddleboard and kayak were awesome, especially for our teenagers. We did our trip on a budget (with 3 of us in university!) so we picked up groceries in George Town and were able to cook all of our meals in the condo and enjoyed eating on the porch every evening. We have returned a bit sunburnt but grateful, rested and ready for our full lives back at home. Thank you, Mabel and Ukailele for the wonderful experience and the memories!

This property was rated a 10 so I had a lot of confidence that it would be a great place. Not sure how they got a 10/10. I asked initial questions about how I could rent a bike in the area and received no answer. View was nice but the hot tub had some mechanical problems and every time it was turned on the motor was very loud which certainly impacted the ambiance. Sitting area inside was a denim material couch, you think it might hide a little dirt and grime? A group came in that were extremely loud, drunk and singing at the top of their lungs until 11:00 at night. I was told the owner was on the premises. All in all, irritating and just okay.

Great vacation venue!!!

We had an amazing stay at this comfortable condo! It was very well stocked with day to day necessities and felt like home away from home. The whole place is so cute, the beds are comfortable, and the washer & dryer make light packing possible. This end of the island was peaceful & unpopulated! We were able to ride the provided bikes to Rum Point & Starfish Point every day with very little traffic and most of the activities we did (Starfish point, Bioluminescent bay, Stingray City, Botanical gardens, Crystal Caves) were all convenient to this location. The communication with Mabel was fantastic; she's very friendly & responds quickly. We loved the pool and the backyard beach access and the view from the screened in balcony. We would definitely recommend a stay at this lovely locale! and we sopeacefuununpopukated

First time to Cayman and really enjoyed it. This is a great place to escape the cold and relax. We liked this quite side of the island away from the crowds and big resorts. The unit had everything we needed including basic seasonings. The host was very responsive to all our questions. Would definitely go back again!

Ukailele was a perfect rental- location, outdoor equipment, just everything was great!!! Won’t go to Grand Cayman unless Ukailele is available. Mabel was very responsive and great owner. Highly recommend but leave time for us to come back😱😂.

Paradise!

My niece and I stayed at this property for 10 days, and it was delightful. It was even better than advertised. It has a view of the pool and the beach (including the hammocks!). We sat for hours on comfy chairs on the screened balcony. The condo itself was extremely well stocked with supplies, which added to the comfort of our stay. It is an out of the way location, which was perfect for us. We snorkeled in the water in front of the condo and regularly walked to Starfish Point to watch the sunset. A fantastic stay!

great condo and even better host (December 2022)

This condo had everything we needed for a fun week! Overlooking the pool and beach, the spacious condo came equipped with paddleboard/kayak/bikes and lots of beach toys/paddleball. It also had everything we needed indoors like towels, kitchen supplies, games/dvds. The in-unit washer/dryer was helpful for our active family too. Being able to walk next door to Kaibo's and Kaibo coffee & Starfish Point was ideal! Best of all was our wonderful host who patiently answered lots of questions pre-arrival, helped recommend local resources for rental car/activities and left us a Christmas tree surprise for our Holiday stay!

Cozy, well-supplied condo

We enjoyed our time at U-Kai-Lele so much - our second time here! The owners are wonderful people and very responsive to any needs you have. The condo is well supplied with everything you need, and we liked the upstairs location as it is more private. We enjoy the Kayman Kai area and being away from the crowds, but if you want to do a lot of things on the other side, it is a bit of a drive, but there are so many beautiful scenes and things to do on this side. Also, you can take the water taxi over to the 7 mile beach area from the Kaibo marina. Many snorkel and water trips leave from the marina as well or from Rum Point down the road, so it is very easy to do these. My only regret is having to leave, and I'm already planning my next trip back!!

Fabulous Grand Cayman Condo

We loved staying at the condo and would happily stay there again and recommend it to others. Everything was just as described and there were also so many nice touches like a stack of sunhats in the closet (which we did make use of) and sunglasses. The kitchen was very well equipped. The indoor grill was especially handy. I cook every meal from scratch and this kitchen made everything very easy. The entire condo was very nicely decorated and felt like a professional designer. Upscale beachy. Very nice and relaxing. I occasionally have issues with back trouble if the beds are too soft but not here. We only used the king bed but it was just right. Very comfortable and supportive. This place was a very nice choice.

Peaceful and beautiful

The Ukulele B18 was a comfortable and well equipped condo. The view is beautiful from the screened porch. Maybe getting near the end of the king mattress life but not awful. We had an issue with the air con unit and Mabel was very responsive and was serviced the next morning. Very happy with her communication and quick response. GPS basically told us we were at our location at Rum Point. It was frustrating. I remembered the Kaibo marina and restaurant was next door so we entered that into the GPS and found it right away. We really enjoyed snorkeling excursions with Ocean Frontiers on the East end, snorkeling off shore at Rum Point, Cayman Kai beach and Eden Rock. Restaurant recommendations away from Cayman Kai-Tukka’s, Czech Inn Grill and Over the Edge, all within 30 or less drive. All in all a very relaxing great experience! Would absolutely rent again.

Excellent condo, responsive owner.

Condo was as advertised...it was fully stocked and all we needed was our toothbrush and bathing suits! My favorite thing was the quality of the sheets, I know may sound picky but I love quality sheets. Great kayaks and paddle board. Even a precious Christmas Tree! The view from the upstairs was perfect, the privacy was great. The only issue was the fact that the walls around the condo were being washed as well as the sidewalks and we dealt with compressor sounds for three days, 6 hours a day. Given our preferred stay- dates, I am not sure we will ever escape sounds of property maintenance. But it seems it could be done on better days than the 4 or five days before Christmas. We love this location and condo community, ran into friends made poolside last year and felt so at home.

Great place on the quiet side!

We had a wonderful stay at Ukailele! The condo has everything you need and more, including a HUGE walk in closet! Lots of towels, beach toys if you have kids, and even a bunch of sunglasses to choose from... We didn't cook much but if we did it's all there. Sunday brunch at the Lighthouse and Valentines dinner at Tukka were our culinary highlights. We used the kayak (could use a bit of care) and I used the paddleboard for the 1st time ever. The beach was great, we walked it several times each day, we swam and looked for starfish and other creatures. Rum point is always amazing and we snorkeled several times around the area, with and without a guide. We had a coffee and a treat every morning from next door (Kaibo Espresso) and went to the Tuesday night BBQ at Kaibo, which I highly recommend. We spent lots of time on the porch, watching the kids in the pool (not ours, but what fun!). Our bed was super comfortable and we slept great. I loved the door locking system, even tho we felt very safe and didn't always use it. Can't wait to come again and stay longer.!!

Great Home Base

We stayed at this property for a week at the end of May/into the beginning of June. One of the most important things for us is communication from the owner prior to, and if needed, during our stay. Mabel gets 5 stars for this! We rented a car and drove somewhere each day, so we truly used the condo as our home base. We spent very little time at its beach or at the pool. The only cons were that the condo is a bit dated (but it was nicely stocked) and the water right outside the condo was filled with hundreds of upside down jelly fish. Pros- Great location for exploring the island (we rented a car). The only area more than 30 mins away is Seven Mile Beach. Kaibo Yacht Club is right next door. We found excursions that pick up from their dock, so we literally walked 2 mins for pick up. Also, if you want a convenient meal, their beach club is also a 2 min walk from your front door. The traffic on this side of the island is MUCH less than the Seven Mile Beach area. In all our exploring of the North Side and East End, we never encountered any traffic issues. The condo is also a super short drive to Rum Point which is a great place to eat, snorkel and watch the sunset from. Also close is Bioluminescent Bay and the Crystal Caves. This was our first trip to Grand Cayman and we all loved NOT being on Seven Mile Beach. There are just too many places to explore and things to see to be tied to one area.If you are an adventurous vacationer, this is a great area for you to consider.

Perfect Piece of Paradise

After many hours of Grand Cayman research it was decided that we wanted to stay away from the crowds, traffic and strip malls of the SMB area. It was to be a quiet and relaxing overdue family vacation for myself, my husband and two sons (24 and 28). Due to work/travel logistics, my oldest was unable to accompany us and my youngest had no issues traveling with the "rents". I compared various 2 bed/2 bath condos for location to areas for off beach snorkeling, fishing, price and amenities. U-Kai-Lele was perfect. The condo was very clean and comfortable. The mattresses and bedding as well. Numerous beach towels are available. The air conditioning was refreshing and quiet. We planned to eat breakfast and dinner at the condo and had everything we needed, and more, to do so. Small appliances available were a toaster, drip and Kuerig coffee machines, blender, 2 microwaves, and panini machine. I'm an avid cook and found the kitchen was not lacking for anything, except Tupperware containers. Simple cooking items such as seasonings, oils, coffee, sugar, flour etc. were also available. We did use the charcoal grill. I had brought a soft sided cooler but there were 2 available. Most of our time at the condo was spent on the screened porch overlooking the infinity pool or in a lounge chair at the private beach. My son particularly enjoyed the hammocks at the beach area. Unfortunately, the beach isn't the clear, blue swimmable water of SMB but Rum Point and Starfish Point are nearby. On our first night we sat on the porch enjoying the music from the Kaibo Yacht Club's BBQ dinner next door which ended by about 10:00. One morning was spent kayaking around the area and my husband caught a small barracuda at the neighboring park. It was too hot for us to use the bikes. (We live in Maine and still had snow in our yard the week before we left.) White Sands Water Sports tours leave from the Kaibo Yacht Club dock and Starfish Point which was convenient. The only negative at the condo was the lack of a phone should we need to make a local call, contact the management company or emergency personnel. Fortunately, we didn't have the necessity to do so. Mable responded quickly to my e-mails and her sister arrived on our doorstep within minutes of our arrival. Overall, we had an excellent stay at U-Kai-Lele and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking the quiet respite it provides. (We stayed the first week of May)

The condo is in a great location, just steps away from the beach & pool, walking distance to starfish point, a bike ride (or walk) from Rum Point and a short drive to the store. It was well stocked and had everything you need for a great vacation! Mabel was very responsive, kind and went out of her way to ensure we had a great stay! Thank you!

Safe, tranquail, beautiful, easy 45 minute drive. We love to pack the cooler, kick back and relax. We are building memories with our young kids...and now you can too!

Beautiful beach views, great sunsets, wonderful breezes. 4 days in Cayman Kai is the equivalent of 2 weeks anywhere else. Friendly neighbors, great watersports near by. Good food and wine.
