Friends get Away

My friend and I met half way for each of us for a girls get away. I chose this place because of the fenced in yard for my schnauzer. Ended up not bringing my dog but another friend came for a couple days. It was a perfect place. So peaceful and it really was quite lovely.

The cabin was all as advertised. Very clean with all amenities. Within 2 miles of down town but felt like it was in the middle of the woods. We will stay there again!

Home was beautiful and cozy and the yard and area around the home was great! The extra bed in the closet was so nice! A thick fold up mattress on a fold up wooden platform....was very comfortable! We will definitely book again in the future. Sunsets and night sky views were what really made this place so enchanting.

Charming and very up to date and decorated home. We loved the location especially the fact that we were close to every thing yet secluded. The fenced yard was perfect for our pup. Communication was excellent. The only reason I gave 4 stars on cleanliness was because I can’t think of a single home that is spotless. It really should have been a 4.8. On the 4 that I gave description, it states laundry and they didn’t have a washer/dryer but I should have done my research better and I would have seen it in the comments. That rating should have been a 4.8. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again 100%

Nice cabin in the woods

Perfect for our needs. Dogs loved the fenced yard. Close to all Eureka Springs activities, but feels secluded. Clean and comfortable! A bit difficult to find. Gravel drive is hidden off a gravel road. Lock on the door is challenging. 10-digit combination and then it isn't obvious what to do next. The instructions say to turn the lever by which they mean the knob in the center of the lock, not the door handle which looks like a lever.

Weekend getaway

We had such a great time for our weekend getaway. The home was just as described in the listing. Check-in was easy and I had everything I needed before arrival. The home was clean and cozy. The only con was that the driveway is difficult for large vehicles. Check-out was just as easy as check-in. If I return to Eureka Springs I will definitely consider staying here again.

Great house!

We really enjoyed the house. The kitchen was stocked with pans, etc. Plenty of room. It was right in town but had plenty of parking and privacy. We really enjoyed it. We'll definitely stay there again. *The real fireplace with the silly fake fire was kind of crazy. But that didn't stop us from turning it on.

Its a cute & cozy home. Close to downtown but secluded area for privacy. Did have some issues... When we arrived we couldn't get in due to the door lock not working. It really needs replaced. We had to call customer service twice before we got in. It was decent as far as cleaning but there were some issues we had to report upon arrival. There was a coffee pot to make coffee but there wasnt any coffee!! Overall it's a nice place and it was okay for the small amount of time we were there.

Quiet and private cottage in the woods.

This is a cozy, clean cottage with excellent privacy but still really close to downtown Eureka Springs. It was clean, the beds were comfortable and the amenities were plentiful. The large fenced yard is nice but if you’re traveling with very small dogs like we do, the wire fencing has large gaps and our pups escaped easily. The cottage is located down a fairly steep, gravel drive that flattens into plenty of parking in front of the house. I didn’t read the listing closely to realize there is no washer/dryer at the house. If you’re planning a longer stay, you’ll need to use a laundromat. We really enjoyed our stay here and would book it again.

Overall we enjoyed the property. Love that it’s off the beaten path but still super close to everything. When we got there we couldn’t get our code to work. We called and were able to get a key to use for the weekend because the codes never worked. The door is kind of hard to get in to. The cabin was super cute, however, it smelled like stale cigarettes. Overall it was mostly clean but there was some spots in the kitchen and bathroom that could have been cleaned better. There was no hand soap in the bathroom, they were empty. There was an abundance of bath towels which was great, but there was one hand towel and one wash clothe. The property on VRBO says there is a washer and dryer on site. This is not true. It also says “Mountain View” which is also not true. I think the listing needs to be updated. Overall we did enjoy our stay. Nothing we couldn’t manage.

Pros: The ground floor was nicely remodeled. There is a large fenced area. The house is isolated but close to downtown. The grill was clean and had propane. All appliances worked.Cons: They need to provide directions to the house. Google maps has it in the wrong location. The lower story of the house, which isn't accessible to guests, had plywood over one window. There were bugs in the house. When I contacted the property manager with photos, they just said they would look into it. We left a day early because I was getting welts from some kind of bug bites while inside the house.
