Definitely gave someone’s first Vrbo project. Trash was completely full like the previous reviews say. Flickering lights in both bed rooms. No trashbags we had to buy our own. No dish soap and other simple kitchen essentials. The water pressure was great before it got cold within minutes

Business Trip

I came to Charlotte with my sister for business. We cater & needed a space with a full kitchen & this home offered exactly what I needed. The home looked exactly like the photos which is always a plus. The 2 bdrms & 2 full baths was GREAT! We were able to unwind & didn't have to wait for the shower to be free'd up. Stephon was SUPER responsive to questions & concerns. I will definitely stay here again & again. Thank you Stephon!

It was exactly as pictured on site. Great location. Really enjoyed myself. It was for birthday and I enjoyed myself. My only complaint would be the floors and carpet. It was not clean to me. A good mopping and carpet cleaning would have made the home perfect! I love the huge beds and decor! Took lots of pictures in front of the picture wall. Also a set of pots and pans would be essential. I had to buy pots and pans to use because there was only 2 skillets. Absolutely the cutest home!!

Fine for one night

This is a duplex. Door lock was difficult but thankfully we got it. The owner never sent any communication about the check in or out process. Luckily the neighbors were quiet. Definitely not cleaned up to most people’s standards. There were only two clean towels and I had to find them in the dryer. One hand towel in the whole place. Lacking all basic amenities you would usually expect. We were only there from 8pm-8am.

Okay stay, but could have been better

The home looked exactly like the photos which was good. It was located in a nice, safe neighborhood and had a security system that made us feel safe. Parking was fine. There were a few things that prompted this 3-star review. Upon our arrival, there was trash piled up in the garbage can (which may have been due to the city not coming to pick it up because others' trash had not been taken). Next, there were several fruit flies in the home and no toilet tissue or paper towels. When asked if these would be supplied, the owner stated only the toilet tissue would so we just went ahead and bought these ourselves. Communication with the owner was a little slow, but questions were answered. Overall, the stay was okay. If these issues had been fixed beforehand, it would have been better.

Cozy home in a nice location

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two weeks and overall it was a good experience. Upon arrival there were a few issues pertaining to cleanliness in the home, but the host was quickly responsive and honest. There was an alarm issue that maintenance came to check, but I was able to turn down the volume so that wasn’t really much of an issue. This seems to be a newer property so the kitchen was lacking cooking tools such as pans, but we just bought a pan at a local store and had no problems. The front door and patio doors have extra locks/security measures that made me feel safe when I was in the home alone or at night. Both bedrooms were very clean and very comfortable! Towards the end of our stay I messaged the host about an issue but did not hear back from them, but this was the only time during the whole trip that I did not get a message back. The location is in a nice neighborhood close to many restaurants and grocery stores. Overall this was a pleasant place to stay and the property owners were very easy to reach; the only reason it gets 4 stars is mainly because of the cleanliness upon check in.

The overall decor of the house was cute. Enjoyed the selfie wall and the bar set up. The weather was cold for us Floridians but we were able to heat the house accordingly. There was a tv in each bedroom and the living room which was nice. Overall, the house met our needs. Unfortunately,there was definitely a problem with the cleanliness of the property. The toilet in one of the bedrooms had clearly been used and not flushed. There was hair in one of the towels and hair in the bathtub. The bars of soap in each bedroom had been used and was dirty. There was a large spider web at the top of the front door. The bedspreads and some towels were in the washing machine and did not appear to have been washed. It is my hope these issues existed due to miscommunication between the cleaning service and the owner as to the date of our arrival.

Disastrous Host/Vrbo customer service

The Host, claimed to have had someone clean the property when there is no way that could've happened. The floor was extremely sticky and nasty. There was hair left in the bathtub, a dirty hand towel left in the bathroom. Urine left on the toilet seat. The sheets were disgusting and hadn't been washed. Trash was piled up as soon as you pull up to the property. When I spoke with the owner, his solution was to clean it myself and he'll waive the $50 cleaning fee. I don't know about you guys but who wants to go on vacation to come to a house that's supposed to be clean and then have to clean and it themselves. I don't want to clean someone else's urine. Vrbo was no better in handling the matter. Instead of placing my family elsewhere, they said cleanliness doesn't rise to their level of concern to have a family moved. They suggested that I take time out of my vacation to clean the home. All in all a bad experience. I wouldn't recommend anyone to utilize this host or Vrbo for that matter. In addition upon looking at further reviews this is something that continously happens with this host. Multiple people have had concerns with the home not being clean. Yet Vrbo allows this to continue with no accountability being taken at all. I wouldn't stay here nor would I recommend using Vrbo as well!
