The City of Huron is a highly-desired location and an extremely SAFE City located at the mouth of the Huron River on Lake Erie; part of the Sandusky micropolitan area.

This beautiful cottage retreat is located on the Huron River which is a tributary of Lake Erie and makes this waterway perfect to enjoy kayaking, canoeing, fishing, jet skis, boating, & floating. Log onto OhioDNR.gov for specific guidelines.

This cottage provides quick access to Route 6 & Route 2 which leads to the areas local attractions including: The City of Huron Boat Ramp+Fish cleaning (2.4 mile) FREE, Nickle Plate Beach (3.5 mile), Cedar Point Amusement Park (12 mile), Cedar Point Sports Center (8.4 mile), Kalahari, North Coast Water Parks, Sawmill Creek Golf, Thunderbird Hills Golf, African Safari, Jet Express….

This Cottage includes things to do: Private Dock with ladder in the back of the House. Depending on prevailing wind the water levels fluctuate 2-4 ft (let us know if you plan on bringing an outboard boat-Shallow early spring & late fall). The cottage is close to the Free-City of Huron Boat ramp, Enjoy the cottage Canoe and a Tandem Kayak (Envoy 106), Personal Floatation Vests, Fishing poles, Bikes, BBQ Grill, Fire Table, Patio, Balcony, Corn Hole, Card table & chairs and other adult and kid games. Bikes, Beach chairs, Umbrellas, Wagon, Cooler, Sand Toys. Bird Watching: 175 species of birds in this area.

This cottage is definitely guaranteed to satisfy (approx. 1600 sq ft): featuring 3 bedrooms and 2 baths on a private drive, heating & ac, all new appliances and a Samsung smart TV in every bedroom, living room and in the garage as well as wireless Internet access.

What To Expect:
CDC Cleaning Guidelines are Followed. This cottage is stocked with hand sanitizer, spray sanitizer, fabric sanitizer (also used during cleaning)

The Outdoor Living Spaces include a large patio in the back of the cottage overlooking the boat dock with an outdoor table & chairs as well as lounging chairs & Firepit table, New 28" Blackstone griddle Grill. The outdoor bistro table and chairs are located on the balcony which enjoys views of the freshwater wetland in the front of the home.

Bedrooms (3):
The bedrooms have been supplied with new, quality linens on NEW mattresses: The Master bedroom- King size Serta with a Serta adjustable base, dresser, desk, table and chairs. The Queen bedroom (upstairs) has a queen size Stearns and Foster mattress with an adjustable base, dresser, table and chairs, closet. The 2 twin size beds (upstairs) have new Zinus mattresses, dresser, usb charging night stands, closet. Smart Samsung TV in every bedroom.

Kitchen:
The Kitchen offers all new appliances: refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, portable dishwasher, ninja blender/smoothie maker/food processor, crock pot, instant-pot, toaster, roaster, dutch oven, 2 Keurig coffee makers (1 w/frother) & a regular pot coffee maker, and has a separate dining area. All New dishes, utensils, pots and pans, baking items, storage containers, measuring items, serving trays, plastic wrap & foil, trash bags and more.

Living Room:
The comfy living room provides two new beautiful sofa beds for additional guests over 6. One sofa bed is queen size and the other love seat sofa pulls out to a full size bed. Large screen 65” Samsung smart TV and electric fireplace.

Bathrooms (2):
The bathrooms include showers also one bathtub. New luxury towels. Hair dryers/flat iron/curling iron. Clothes Iron and Ironing Board. Starter: TP, hand soap, hand sanitizer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bath robes.

Garage:
The Garage has been redesigned into an amazingly spacious gathering area with an extra refrigerator, cabinets, serving counter, outdoor cooking utensils, melamine plates/cups, utility sink, large table and chairs, a New Electrolux washer and dryer- both have sanitize load settings, a large smart TV as well as an electric fireplace.

Four parking spaces are available in the driveway. Additional parking may be available.

Children: Children cups, plates and utensils. There is an evenflo doorway gate. This home is not equipped with safety features required for babies & small children. Be sure to implement your own safety precautions when staying with babies & small children.

Local Environment:
This Cottage Home is located on the Huron River in Huron Ohio. You may hear birds, motorized water vehicles, other people, route 2 bridge that is 1200 feet away, There is a railroad system that through the North Coast of Ohio. It runs through The City of Huron (no matter where you stay in Huron/North Coast you may hear the trains)- our cottage is further from the tracks than most Huron rentals, but you may hear trains (1.125 miles away)- my guests say they didn't even notice any train sounds. This cottage house has updated double pane windows and new doors and is very cushioned from sound. We are surrounded by lots of spectacular wildlife & many Canadian geese in the yards and on the roads so enjoy the nature filled surroundings, drive slow and check your shoes often;-)
