Orange Door Mountain Villa is a spectacular home located in the majestic mountains of Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic. Jarabacoa is known as “The place where God rests.” The villa is located less than 10 minutes from town where there are plenty of quality restaurants, cafe’s, supermarkets, ice cream shops and of course plenty of shopping.

About the home - Orange Door Mountain Villa has a stunning valley and mountain view that is always changing depending on the weather and the direction of the sun. When you enter the gated driveway you are greeted with these breathtaking views, with parking for 2 cars. Our staff will greet you when you arrive to show you around the home. The home itself has a fun orange dutch door that allows the breeze to move through the home and keeps nature outside. As you enter you will find a large open living space where you can gather with your family and friends. The home brings the views inside with many expansive windows. The screened windows also bring in the refreshing mountain air and sunlight through the home. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make a memory filled dinner. If you don’t feel like cooking, please let us know and we have an amazing local staff member that will come and create a wonderful meal and then will also clean up after. The family room includes a floor to ceiling stacked stone wood burning fireplace, and the dining room has a large table which allows everyone to gather together to enjoy a meal.

On the other side of the living space you will find an expansive covered patio with a seating area and full dining table to enjoy. The patio is the perfect place to enjoy time with your family and friends chatting, playing a game or enjoying a warm cup of coffee in the mornings. Also, on this level of the home you will find a bridge just inside the front door which leads to one of our two grand master suites. There is a plush queen bed, TV, built in closet and dresser and a full master bath with 2 sinks. This suite also includes a private balcony with rocking chairs overlooking the jacuzzi and amazing views.

As you head downstairs you will find a fun hang out area for kids or adults. This space has room to play games, build a puzzle or cuddle up and watch a movie. Just off the hangout area you will find two guest rooms. One has a queen size bunk bed and the other has a queen size bed where you will feel like you are sleeping in a cozy tree house where the trees feel like an arms reach away. Both rooms have plenty of built in closet storage. These rooms share a large bath where the shower and toilet share a space, and the double sinks are in a space of their own, allowing multiple people to get ready at the same time. The other master suite is also located on the lower level of the home. This room also has a comfortable queen sized bed, built in closet, and bathroom suite. The room has a private entrance onto the downstairs deck where the large jacuzzi is perfect for a relaxing dip before bed.

The downstairs hang out area has a large door which leads you out to the covered patio, where you will find a fully equipped outdoor kitchen. This kitchen includes a sink, stove, mini refrigerator, Blackstone cooktop and a charcoal grill. The space also has a large picnic style table where everyone can all sit together to enjoy your family BBQ. There is a large seating area next to the jacuzzi which will comfortably fit everyone. There is also a half bathroom located in this space. This space is perfect for enjoying your family and friends in the evening, watching the sun set behind the mountains and watching the stars come out.

In the area - Jarabacoa is a town that will have everything you need to make amazing memories with your family and friends. You can enjoy amazing local restaurants, coffee plantation tours, beautiful waterfall hikes, visit local farms, whitewater rafting, off roading adventures and even paragliding. With so much to do you will never be bored.
