Our stay at this property was fantastic. It is spacious, clean, and well provisioned. It was also incredibly conveniently-located, as it provided easy access to everything in Clayton (and in particular to Wood Boat Brewery, one of our favorite spots in the area). It felt like a true home away from home. The host was also fabulous at communicating with us, including helping transmit an item to us that we left behind upon check out. We highly recommend this house if you are in the area!

Exceptional Stay!We had an incredible stay at this property! The house was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The photos and description accurately represented the property, but experiencing it in person was even better.The location was perfect, offering both convenience to nearby activities and a quiet atmosphere to relax. The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and provided seamless check-in instructions.We couldn't have asked for a better host or stay, and we would definitely love to book this place again in the future. We (4 adults) stayed for a week here with our two dogs. Allison (the host) provided easy check in and was friendly and communicated promptly relating to any questions we had. The house was well equipped with anything we needed even though I packed a lot of our own things just in case. There was even a stand mixer to use when I made a bday cake! The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, great water pressure in the showers, and the dogs enjoyed the fenced yard. A short walk into town takes you to fun restaurants and to our favorite spot, the ADK chairs on the river. Check out instructions were clear and as easy as check in. Overall, a great week spent and we’d definitely choose this house again for a future stay.

Wonderful week with friends. We were at a Antique Boat Museum function, so the location was perfect. Super clean house, comfortable beds and well laid out for our group. Liked the coffee bar and well appointed kitchen. Great stay all around.

Great proximity to downtown shops and restaurants

We loved the decor, amenities and our dog really enjoyed the large fenced in yard. The neighborhood was so welcoming and we absolutely would stay here again! Clayton is a wonderful town with great dining and shopping

Wonderful stay!

We had a great long weekend with our family that came in from out of town. Walking distance to restaurants and gift shops! Extremely comfortable beds and everything was very clean and as described! Allison was a grwat host amd communicator!

Really enjoyed this place. It offered the greatest accessibility to downtown Clayton with a nice interior. 6 friends and I visited and it worked perfectly for us. Recommend!

We loved our stay. The host was great and promptly replied to any questions or needs that we had. House was very clean and beds were comfortable. Quiet neighborhood with short walk to all of the shops and restaurants in downtown Clayton. Would definitely book again in the future!

The property was very clean with a well maintained yard. The home was comfortable with many welcoming touches and well appointed. Our daughter”s wedding was at the boat museum and the property was across the street, couldn’t have been more convenient and the owners were wonderful to work with.

Place was great! Very clean, well stocked kitchen and so many things to do. Streaming services and internet were fast and worked well. Located within walking distance to town, and host was really accommodating and checked in.

Many yrs ago I spent time in Alexandria bay and brought my grandchildren to the thousands island area to make fond memories for them. Words can't explain how disappointed I was with that area. Clayton was so beautiful and accommodating. This property was wonderful and very clean. When we return to Clayton we will stay here

This house is in an amazing location, close to the water and walking distance to town and many restaurants. We really appreciated the proximity to everything important in town. The house was clean when we checked in. It was quite hot outside however the various air conditioners worked well. I would give it overall four stars, after considerable thought, because of a few issues noted. First, the fence which encloses the driveway end of the “fenced yard” was broken and about to come off the hinge. We were not planning on relying on this fence for our dogs, as they would have fit underneath it anyways, but the broken part kept blowing into the driveway area. Additionally, although there is a washer and dryer in the basement for guest use (my adult children did use them), I felt the stairs to the basement were too steep and dangerous for me personally to go down them. Finally, while the downstairs bathroom was modern and updated, the upstairs bath had a claw footed tub which was difficult to climb in and out of, with a slippery floor underneath.

We’ll be back!

From the location to the house itself, it was perfect for a long weekend with family and friends! We loved the fenced in yard for yard games and to let the toddlers wander. You can even view the river! We loved that there was space for everyone without being crowded (we do wish the twin bed was a full/queen but that didn’t stop us - as they kindly provided a comfy air mattress). Overall it was super clean, full of everything you need and great communication with the host! We will be back again!

Amazing Property!

The Waterview House w/Fenced Yard, Woodboat, & Museum property is everything that you could ask for! The home is exactly what is posted in the listing! The photographs accurately depict the entire house. Everything you could possibly need is available in the house. This is by far the best and cleanest rental we have rented! The location is perfect, it is within walking distance to the town of Clayton which is awesome for dining or shopping. The property managers quickly respond to any questions you may have. We will definitely be back!
