Firefly Hill - Renovated farmhouse with large backyard - sleeps 8

This property is centrally located but in a rural small town area in the foothills of central Maryland. It has great views of the mountains and the valley to the north and the pastures of our farm to the south and west. There are four bedrooms and three full bathrooms, as well as a large fenced yard with a grill, hammock and fire ring. The main bedroom has a queen bed and an ensuite bathroom with clawfoot cast iron bathtub/shower. The second bedroom hosts a full bed and shares a full bathroom with the third bedroom, which has two twin beds and a walk in closet. The fourth bedroom is located on the ground floor and doubles as an office and library. Prepare for relaxation and calm atmosphere!
Nearby attractions are numerous, but some highlights include Frederick, MD with tons of great restaurants, shopping, art and city parks; Harpers Ferry at the confluence of the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers, a national historic site and great outdoor adventures; the battlefields of Antietam, South Mountain, Monocacy and Gettysburg are nearby; and many great places in FREDERICK COUNTY to visit.
There is an office with a large desk for a workspace, and a library stocked with books. The front porch has a great view of the valley and mountains- it's the perfect spot to watch the fireflies or a passing thunderstorm. We hope you enjoy this house as much as we do.
