The space
Conveniently pull into your reserved parking spaces and step into this historic pre-1900 home "The Driftwood". Head up the stairs to the second floor and you'll find the newly remodeled space is the perfect balance of modern amenities and historic charm! The open floor plan of the living room and kitchen is a perfect gathering spot for all. All spaces have been professionally designed with gorgeous details and colors throughout. Off the living area you'll find a common half bathroom.

Around the corner is your unique and private suite. A queen sized bed, private balcony, and remote workspace are just a few perks of this suite. There is also en-suite full bathroom with large stand up shower.

The second bedroom features a king sized bed and en-suite bathroom. This bathroom has a large Kohler soaker tub and the tile reveals a unique original inscription carefully preserved. All of this comfort and style just steps away from all that quaint downtown Rockport has to offer!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this historic home in Rockport, MA. The unit is the second floor of the house, all on one level once you are inside. Everything was spotlessly clean and modern, as accurately depicted in the photos. The beds were very comfortable and the A/C was top notch, keeping the unit very cool during our warm August trip -- though there are also fabulous modern heaters in the bathrooms, which we loved. The house is very conveniently located within just a few blocks of the wharf and downtown area of Rockport. We really didn't need a car at all, but having a dedicated parking lot was a bonus. We would definitely stay here again.

Waze, owned by Google, directed us to the back of the property with the address (Avenue vs. Street), but a very short drive around to the front and we were in. Lots of room on the top floor, quite cozy and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again if possible and in the area.

The location, comfort, and cozy historic charm of this VRBO was fantastic. It had everything we needed and more. Keurig coffee maker and pods, french press, and everything needed to cook or bake. I'm a health shake gal and it even had a personal blender to make my shakes. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom plus a spare half bath. The tub in one bathroom was large and deep. Perfect after a cold day in Cape Ann. It's an easy walk to Bearskin Neck and all its food and shops. The neighborhood is quiet and quaint. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stay here.
