All-Season Cozy Lakeside Cabin in Northwood, NH- 2 Bdr, great views

This lakefront, open-concept, two-bedroom cabin has a newly-renovated, fully-equipped kitchen with gas stove, microwave, and dishwasher. In addition, there is a large deck with great lake views and an outdoor gas grill. Both bedrooms have queen-sized beds with televisions. Clean towels, all bed linens, and comforters are provided. Enjoy the lake view with water access right on the property.

This location offers something for every season. In the summer, enjoy swimming in the lake at the private beach nearby, hang out on the spacious back deck overlooking the lake while cooking lunch or dinner on the outdoor gas grill provided, or take the canoe or kayak out onto the lake. In the Fall, enjoy spectacular views of the colorful foliage that is the hallmark of NH during this time of year. Then, during the Winter, enjoy the wonderland of snow-laden boughs. You can walk out onto the frozen lake, go snowshoeing, ice-fishing, or bring your snowmobiles to zip across the lake and check out the local trails. And in Spring, see the local flora and fauna reawaken. The Spring melt from the mountains cause the local waterfalls to swell. Take a trip up to the Flume Gorge or go hiking in Crawford Notch. Also, this is maple-sugaring season in NH, and you can get a look at local sugarhouses and maple syrup production.

The cabin is air-conditioned in the Summer, with individual units in each bedroom and a central unit in the main living area. During the Winter, enjoy the coziness and ambiance of a fire in the woodstove (wood provided), or just turn up the thermostat on the furnace. In the evenings, enjoy a campfire in the firepit overlooking the lake or relax inside with the big screen TV with streaming services available in the comfy living room. Indulge in serene, quiet nights and relaxing days. Also, enjoy local shopping on Antique Alley, or savor a great steak or seafood dinner from nearby Johnson's Restaurant (and don't miss their generous servings of homemade ice cream!) We absolutely loved our stay. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful, the water access on the property is lovely, the wood stove is incredibly cozy, and we loved the easy access to Concord and Manchester.

A true coxy cabin in the woods

Great location. There are neighbors, but you feel like you are all alone. Perfect for relaxation by the fire. Would definitely go back.

The cabin and Property are much nicer and larger than the pictures show. Everything was very clean, and the Amenities were plentiful. Especially enjoyed the porch, dock, and fire pit location. We would definitely stay here again.

Waterfront Cottage on Long Pond

Lakeside Getaway

Cabin is located on the water. It’s clean, warm and cozy. The bed was comfortable and we appreciated the soft sheets. We didn’t really use the kitchen over the weekend, yet it has all you need. It was the perfect spot for us to spend time and enjoy a local wedding. Host was very responsive.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at this great property. Very impressed by the cozy feel, modern kitchen and really enjoyed the outside deck, dock and fire pit. A great property on a beautiful waterbody. Spent most of our time relaxing on the shore, listening to the call of the loons!

Wonderful waterfront get-a-way

This is our 2nd time staying at the charming lake side cottage. We love everything about the place. The lake is so pristine and quiet....with its own pair of loons calling and a bald eagle diving down for fish. The hosts provide a canoe and kayak to navigate the forested shores and island. The house itself is nicely laid out with plenty of open space and a lovely deck overlooking the water. We will return again!

Cozy Clean Cabin

Cozy, extremely clean cabin snuggled up on a small hill from the lake. Fully furnished with anything you may need during your stay (linens, paper products, toiletries, firewood, etc). The kitchen is a cook's dream with pots, pans & implements galore, and fully stocked with high end tableware for eating. The kitchen table is on the small side, and as previously noted, bathroom is snug for larger size people. We enjoyed the outdoor deck and the indoor fireplace during our stay as well!

Peaceful cabin by the water

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin nestled by the water among the trees. It was very comfortable with everything needed to enjoy long conversations, beautiful sunsets and always a gentle breeze on the dock. We loved the local beach just a few lots down that provided kayaks to use for peaceful paddling on the pond. We took lots of beautiful photos, including some of a loon. The host, Crystal, was awesome and went out of her way to make sure we were happy with everything and were enjoying our stay. So glad we stayed at this cozy cabin on the water.

Nice place!

Spent a long weekend here with a couple friends. Nice place overlooking a small lake / large pond. It's hard to swim off the property itself but there is a beach area a couple houses down with a raft to swim to. Kitchen has everything you should need for cookware and there is a propane grill on the porch.

Beautiful stay on the pond

This property is right on the pond with boats at the ready. The house is clean and we loved relaxing on the deck. There is also a play structure for little kids. This would be good for friends, family, or a romantic getaway. Nearby to Johnson's (recommend) and even more lakes and ponds! Crystal is a great host. She sent information in advance, responded quickly, and was thoughtful with our departure time given a flash flood on our final day.

Charming Rustic Cabin with Modern Updates!!

What a find!! Loved the rustic pine paneled cabin overlooking beautiful, quiet Long Pond. The kitchen and appliances are brand new with plenty of dishes, pans etc. Lots of windows and a very nice deck with seating and BBQ where you observe the wildlife on the lake. Owner provides a kayak, canoe, fire pit and swing set for every age's entertainment. Close by beach where my granddaughter swam everyday. Plan on returning next year to this pristine, peaceful spot.

Rustic cabin on a quiet lake

If you are looking for a rustic cabin on a quiet small lake, then this is it. The kitchen/family room/hearth room provide a nice open space. Both bedrooms are cozy, but comfortable. The only surprise is the toilet, which is less spacious than the 737 we flew on. There is a canoe and kayak and everything to go on the lake, which we did. Nearby is a great brew pub and ice cream shop. Grocery stores are about 15 minutes away. It is very peaceful sitting on the outdoor porch as only small motorized boats (i.e. less than 10 HP) are allowed on the lake. Do note that there is no laundry on site, so we had to go into town.

Lovely cabin by the lake

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One of the best equipped kitchens I've seen at a VRBO. Had the weather been warmer, I'd have loved to take out the canoe or the kayak or take a dip in the lake. Woodburning stove was amply stocked with firewood. Only downside--no laundry facility onsite.
