Enjoy the Hideout for a Perfect Snowy Retreat!

Do you love skiing, snowboarding, or tubing? Our place is a cute little spot not far from all of these. The Hideout is cozy and the perfect place to dive into everything winter has to offer. Maybe you need a winter wonderland weekend to reset and come back Monday morning refreshed. Whatever the case may be, we got you covered!

As Super Hosts, we know just what our guests need to unwind. For starters, there is FREE driveway parking, as we cover the $60 fee charged by the community, so you don’t have to! The cabin is professionally cleaned between guests, so you walk into fresh bedding, luxury towels, and everything sparkling to make your stay here amazing!

Enjoy the fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, silverware, plates, glasses, spices, and everything you need to make a meal. Just bring the food! We also provide a water cooler for drinking and making ice cubes. Cozy up by our wood-burning fireplace after a long day on the slopes. And we give you a few pieces of firewood to get you started. Just up the road there is more for purchase.

Although some people prefer to be off the grid, we still offer Wi-Fi, app streaming TV, and an office workspace. There is a closet full of board games and puzzles to keep the kids busy.

You have the whole house to yourself. We will provide you with coffee every morning, either Keurig or fresh brew. With creamer and sweeteners. We know how important coffee can be! Complimentary, of course, to show how much we love our guests and want you to come back again and again.

As for the location, it is close to lots of things that draw people to the Poconos: Camel Back Mountain Ski Resort and Jack Frost Big Boulder Mountain. Only 18 miles from Jim Thorpe, a quaint little town worth exploring. Also, not far from Kalahari Indoor Waterpark and Spa. We are five minutes from the Poconos Raceway which is next to Poconos Organics (our favorite place to eat!) People love staying here during the winer to take in all the snow related activities around town.

Whether you want time away to finish your novel or you want to scoop the kids up for a fun time in the mountains, the Hideout is the place for you! Book your stay today. You won’t regret it!

Home is nestled in a quiet community. My wife and I loved waking up having our coffee on the front porch with the deer waiting to be fed. Great restaurants within a few minutes drive (recommend nicks lake house)

Simply delightful!!! Comforting and welcoming! Hosts were wonderful and quickly answered all questions! We had 4 women for a small retreat and we were cozy, that was probably the limit for adults. The deer were delightful and the lake is beautiful! I would absolutely stay here again!! Thanks again for everything Barbie!!

This place is the best! We've camped in many places, both in tents and cabins, but this cabin and the place are the best. The cabin is equipped with all the necessary items and things you wouldn't imagine. For example, upon entering the cabin, we found two bottles of wine (free). My wife was delighted with the decor, Everything inside and out was beautiful, My two children were very entertained feeding the deer that arrived in the afternoon and morning, both young and old, We will definitely be back.

Anniversary Weekend

This was a nice cute place that was perfect for 2 people. The location was great and easy to get to food places that you can eat out at or market to bring back and cook. The down sides of the place was the bathroom was small and outdated and the lightning was not the best for my wife trying to do her makeup. These 2 things didn’t put a tamper on our time as we had a great time and would rent again.Thank you

Relaxing weekend get away

We enjoyed this rental. Was just what we were looking for. The house was just as described. The fireplace was great as it was cold an snowy. Having the deer come hang out in the yard was very pleasant. The community looks like it is very nice. Will definitely be back in the near future.

Girls’ Trip Getaway

We had a very relaxing time in your neck of the woods while on our Girls’ Trip Getaway. The cabin was perfect. The welcoming bottle of wine and the morning coffee bar were a terrific added bonus. The furniture and beds and were all very comfortable and made us feel at home during our visit. We visited a local farmer’s market and found lots of delicious treats too! We spent our afternoons and evenings on the porch with the relaxing patio fire pit. The deer welcomed us immediately upon our arrival and returned frequently to check on us throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our first, but not last, visit to The Hideout!

Just that "The Hideout"

Our family enjoyed staying at The Hideout. Our little one really loved our the deer come right up to the house. The kayaks were a nice experience for the kids. The lake was clean. Overall very nice and convenient place to stay at. Also, very clean house!

The Hideout

I really enjoyed my stay. Got to play some golf and got some much needed relaxation. I especially enjoyed seeing the deer. It is a very cozy place to stay and I would highly recommend it. Will definitely be back again.

Great experience

My husband and i spent our honeymoon at this property. Loved it. Did alot of fishing at the lake. Went did alot of site seeing. Went to the Poconos Race track. Even went to the Bushkill Falls. A little drive but enjoyed it. The house was just as the pictures plus some. Definitely going to vist again..

Neat Little Place

Stayed here for NASCAR weekend. Very convenient to the track. Neat little place. Nice grill, kitchen had the untensils and dishes needed. Didn't use the TV but only once - but worked fine. AC worked great for the hot days! Only thing is it would have been nice if the deck could have been swept or leaf blown from the leaves and ash as we had to use the front door and debris tracked inside.

Cozy cabin with great hosts.

It was very hot so the A/C system was much appreciated. The host left us wine and food for the deer that came right to the deck. Everything we needed was available. Enjoyed the porch swing. Would definitely stay again.
