Experience the best of Alaska in this spacious studio. Offering self check in/out for this private upstairs home. Featuring a full kitchen, queen sized bed, sleeper sofa, smart tv and games. Kitchen has a gas stove, oven, coffee maker, blender, toaster, fridge and microwave. Beautiful walk in shower with a rain showerhead. Shared entry is accessed by keypad.

This is a stunning, large, private upstairs studio apartment has a view of Mt. Susitna and a gorgeous sunset! Space includes a bedroom area, kitchen area and living area, queen sized bed and dresser. please note- this is a studio apartment, so it does not contain a separate room for the bedroom. It's an open style layout of about 700 sq feet, so it is very spacious!

The bed is perfect for sleeping in! Featuring two styles of pillows for any type of sleeping preference, the mattress and pillows also have encasements and covers for protection and to keep the bed hypo-allergenic.

The comforter is oversized- great for coverage and sharing. It's cozy and a duvet cover is used to keep things fresh and clean!

The kitchen has a gas stove, oven, blender, coffee maker, toaster, fridge and microwave. Living area has a sleeper sofa and smart TV with casting features. There are also board games and books for your entertainment!

It was a clean, well kept property. The host reached out to us ahead of time, and check-in process was smooth. We would have appreciated a dishwasher as you have no idea how well the prior guests washed them. Other than that, it was a very good property overall, and very conveniently located near the airport.

Beautiful Studio with great quiet location

Unit was beautiful and clean. As nice as you could want. The location was great and quiet and secure. The property owner or manager reached out quickly with easy to understand direction and answered questions quickly. The unit was well stocked with pans, dishes, blankets, and even board games. They even leave some smore ingredients out like mints in a hotel but we all know s'mores are better. I would rent this location every single time I came to town if I could. Honestly I wish I could live there. Loved it and high recommend this spot.

Attention to Detail

This unit was exceptional. The host was so considerate to make sure our little kids had toys and books to keep them entertained. There were board games for us to play, and extra sheets and blankets for the futon couch. The TV streaming software was the most user friendly, and the wifi worked very well! The location is far enough away from the city noise to relax and close enough to everything we like to do (parks, movies, malls, grocery). The chopping knife was actually sharp and there were even children's plateware and utensils, so I was worry free! Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again every time I come into town for appointments. I think the only thing I wish it had was a nonstick style pan and maybe a small rice cooker (luckily I knew how to make rice in a pot lol).

Very convenient to the airport. The GPS directions were off so we drove around the block looking for the apartment. Directions to get into the studio are very clear. The studio was clean and had coffee for in the morning! In the summer you can’t view the mountain that’s referenced due to the trees but as soon as you start traveling, the mountains are right there! Would stay again if the opportunity arises.

We didn't receive the checkin code from VRBO prior to checking but someone verified our reservation and let us in. It is a completely open studio with no separate bedroom. The couch is not full size so not appropriate for a second guest. There were no linens for the sofa couch but I had a sleeping bag with me and slept in my own sleeping bag. The studio was clean and close to the airport. The neighborhood looks a bit seedy and the main road nearby was noisy.

Well, this is a strange review. It is literally listed as a studio. A studio is open. There are pictures in the listing. There are no doors near the bed. Personalized check-in information was sent to you via VRBO 1 week before. Vrbo also sent info 2 days before. I showed it to you when you arrived. You did not experience any waiting time trying to get in. You're also able to call VRBO and they can tell you the information if you aren't tech savvy. The couch is made into a sleeper sofa when you put together the two parts. The long part is at the foot of the bed and can also be used as a bench. No additional bedding was requested. We'd be happy to provide it, even after check-in. It seems like you have limited experience using VRBO and have created a negative view of everything associated with it. This area of town is considered safe in Anchorage. There are a lot of expensive homes even just a block away. I can give you a tour if you'd like. Sleeping away from home is tough. Ear plugs are provided for maximum comfort away from home and sounds that you're used to.
