Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the front driveway, home, backyard, pool, and back gate (trash cans located behind the fence).
Please do not attempt to open the storage shed or the garage.
The Neighborhood:
The property sits on Suncrest Blvd. This is a very quiet residential neighborhood. While there are neighbors on either side of the home, they are very respectful and quiet, so your privacy will be respected throughout your stay. We ask that you do the same for them to maintain harmony. The neighborhood is right across from the highway that leads directly to Tybee and Downtown, but you’ll never hear any road noise - you will, however, enjoy the benefits and convenience of being able to reach anywhere in Savannah in no time!
There are many convenience stores, gas stations, restaurants, and even a Walmart and Kroger within 3 minutes. So you can get all you need for your stay without a fuss!
Getting Around:
The house is conveniently located in Wilmington Island, which is halfway between Tybee Island (15-min) and Downtown Savannah (10-min). You can easily Uber/Lyft to either side if you're not interested in driving around - but you will definitely need transportation to get around as the roadways are not walkable due to the lack of sidewalks.
There is a very nice Kroger grocery store approximately a mile from the house. In the event of an emergency, you can go to Urgent Care 24/7 in Whitemarsh (6-minute drive). The Chatham County Police Precinct is approximately 2.5-miles. And the closest fire emergency station is 2.5-miles away.
Other Things to Note:
The pool is open and maintained all year, but it is not heated.
Parties, undisclosed guests (or pets), or events are not allowed.
Family reunions, bachelorettes, bachelors, and other family friendly events are allowed after prior coordination with the host.
We ask that the space, other guests, and our neighbors are treated with dignity and respect. Please respect the home and its rules. This will help us maintain peace and ensure that all of our guests have a wonderful Savannah Stay!
