The only issue with the house was the fact it was clearly not cleaned before we arrived. There was sand throughout the forest floor and the bathrooms had obviously not been cleaned. The property itself was as advertised and we enjoyed our stay, but walking into it in the condition we did was disappointing.

The location is great. However, there are some things at the house that need repair and or attention. There is an ice maker but the dispenser is broken and the screen door at the deck is difficult to open. There was bird poop all over the front porch and furniture as well as mildew on the outdoor furniture cushions that needed to be scrubbed.

Perfect Beach House

I loved staying in this house, I was there for over three months. It is a beautiful, comfortable home with four spacious bedrooms in a great location and Avery responsive host It is only two blocks from the beach and close to Point Pleasant Beach’s downtown with great shops and restaurants. It’s perfect for a family vacation and I would definitely stay there again.

Pleasant Stay

My husband, son, and I had a pleasant stay at the home in Point Pleasant. We cooked breakfast and dinner and slept comfortably. The beach was less than a 5 minute walk which was perfect! We had wonderful weather which made our short vacation stay even better! The area was quiet and we slept peacefully. It's a great area to stay!

Great Location

House is walking distance to beach and boardwalk, but far enough away to be quiet at night. Owner Michael was very responsive to all questions regarding the house. Good house for families - the kids loved the bunk room.

Great family vacation house!

We had a great week in point Pleasant at this lovely home. The openness of the kitchen, dining and living room allowed us all to cook together and play family games every night. The location of this house is great, and very walkable to the boardwalk. The host was responsive and always available. Really nice outdoor space in the front and back of the house as well.

Great Point Pleasant vacation

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this beach house that was perfect for our large family. The owner Mike was quick to respond to all questions and made our stay very carefree. The location is a short walk to Bradley Beach as well as the Point Pleasant boardwalk. The rooms in the house were very spacious and the kitchen and bathrooms were recently updated. The front patio is perfect for morning coffee and the deck out back is great for grilling. We would love to stay there again.

Location! Location! Location!

The house was clean, bright, and inviting. It is located walking distance from both the beach entrance and the boardwalk. The owner was very receptive and attentive. There was plenty of space inside for 4 adults and 3 teen boys. We brought bikes and they enjoyed the quiet neighborhood.

Special House for a lovely beach vacation

This house, just a couple of blocks from the beach, is special. The location is fantastic. Adult children and grandchildren walked to the beach each day. I was recovering from surgery on my elbow and spent many a lovely afternoon on the porch overlooking a quiet street. Lake of the Lillies is just a half block away and walks admiring the swans, shore birds and wild flowers should not be missed. Also quite walkable is the nearby Point Pleasant boardwalk with its aquarium and amusement rides. The house is very comfortable with complete supplies for meal preparation. The Wi Fi is super strong and the few times we had a question Mike, the home owner, got back to us immediately. I look forward to future visits to this house.

Excellent experience at Point Pleasant!!

We had a tremendous stay at 217 Washington. We had a family of 4 adults with 5 little kids, and the house worked perfectly. There were ample sleeping arrangements so everyone was comfortable, and a great living and kitchen area for when we were hanging out around the house. The place was clean and comfortable and had all of the required amenities for a great stay (especially the outdoor shower!) Location was perfect for us. It was a short 5 min walk from the beech and about 10-15 mins from the heart of the boardwalk. This meant easy access to everything we wanted to do, without being so close where we had to worry about noise or random people walking by. The owner was great to work with, and was easily reachable. We also had a somewhat urgent issue of our own doing that needed to be addressed, and he responded right away to help us out. 5/5 stars all-around, and would highly recommend this property. My only criticism would be that the pictures on this site don't do it justice! Great outdoor, living, kitchen, and sleeping areas. If we plan on going back to Point Pleasant, we know just where to look!
