Great place for a family reunion. The kids were so entertained between the indoor court, the bar area and just playing hide and seek throughout the entire house. Very clean, comfortable and easy. Communication was great. Definitely recommend.

We were able to fit my whole family that came into town. Very clean and comfortable and we had a great time. Lots of amenities around the house and the host was amazing. He replied back in a timely manner. Will book again in the future!

Wonderful property

I have been eyeing this location for over a year. For vacation and my sons birthday, we decided to spend more on the house since it had so many family friendly amenities. It did not disappoint!! The kids loved the indoor racquetball court, pool foosball and pool table. The house and property were large enough to have alone time but also family time. Very pleased with everything and the communication with the host was amazing! I highly recommend.

Family Reunion

It has a lot of potential, but a lot of junk laying around the yard, light fixture with exposed wires hanging from the carport ceiling, back gate to the property laying on the ground, pool needs to be resurfaced, dish washer was filthy and smelled. Appreciate the new grill that was there and the flexibility in an early check in. Absolutely no complaints about the property owner, but a lot of work needs to be done on the property. Our second year there, but we'll be moving on to a different property for our next reunion.

Short but sweet

My siblings and I with our families traveled from Hawaii, Tennessee, North Carolina, and San Antonio for a reunion. I chose this place for its spaciousness, privacy, and activities on site for the kids. While the property is dated and there were some things that didn’t work our time together to include the children having fun was not affected. There is one thing we wished, and that was for the pool to be heated. We all agreed it was a place we would return to in the future. The host was very responsive and attentive to our needs.

Large home

This is a large home on a fenced quiet lot (except for occasional train). The home is set up in a way that everyone can have their own space or gather in the living room, or kitchen. The kitchen is large and we found everything we needed to make the meals we wanted. We never got the hang of the burners. I'm not sure if it was us or the burners but we couldn't seem to get them as hot as we wanted but we made them work. We would absolutely stay here again for a family gathering.

Big house was big letdown

This house is in disrepair and not up to VRBO standards. I believe the owner has turned a blind eye to the home’s condition I spoke with him and sent him pictures but he thinks the size of the property overrides all the issues the house has.

Hi Pat, sorry to hear that. I think there was a mismatch in expectation. You were expecting a very upscale, latest 2024 kind of construction but our whole thing is about the features like personal racquet ball court, 40k gallon pool, pool table , bars, 5 acre of seclusion in heart of city, huge living space , enough place for kids families to play outdoor and so many things. But looks like those thing did not impress you much and you were looking for other aspects of the house. We try our best to keep improving and have been improving based on wahtever feedback we get and will continue to do. But given the scale of things it is not very easy and we do not want to make the place very expensive too. We like families to come and enjoy this place and call it home for few days and enjoy the uniqueness and grandness of it. But again, thanks for your feedback and we have taken care of many things and will try to take care of all the things you had mentioned.

Great for large family

13 of our family members booked this place last minute after our other host canceled last minute. Bimalendu was very kind and even offered to let some of our party stay at the house early since our other booking couldn’t accommodate them. The house is huge and exactly as described. The swimming pool and basketball court were a hit for everyone. We had children, so the gate around the pool was very much appreciated. Bedrooms were large and comfortable, and the living room and kitchen were perfect for all of us to hang out when it was too hot outside—the a/c ran perfectly despite the heatwave of 105 all week. We also used the grill outside. We would book this place in a heartbeat for future trips for 10+ people. Thank you for a great stay!

Family Trip 2024

The house was mostly as shown in the photos. All the beds were extremely comfortable. Our teenagers and adult men loved the indoor basketball/racket ball court. Our dancer took her turn in the large room too. The pool was a disappointment. It was green and cloudy; nothing like the photos of a clear blue pool. I contacted the owner and was told the pool had been cleaned the previous day. No compensation was offered nor did they offer to send someone over to check it. The cooktop in the kitchen is very old and the knobs are difficult to read. Definitely time for a new unit.

Hi Tawana, Thanks for the honest review and capturing both the positive and limitation of the house. I agree that pool proved to be a big issue for us this season. But it took time for me to realize that it was not getting cleaned even though the company was coming and cleaning regularly. By the time we realized it did affect some of our guest. Finally we hired some one who was able to fixed it and bring it back to sparkling clean. The cooktops are working fine and it is the old 42 inch Jennair, we got the knobs and will be replacing now. Since the house is old so yes something or the other always needs attention. We are trying to keep it up and try address as soon as possible. Once the peak season is done we will have window to do some upgrade and fix those issues. But we still try to keep it comfortable for families to enjoy large private space with unique facilities. Hope your next visit you will not have those concerns. If you are booking anytime, do let me know and we will discount you one night for sure for the inconvenience. Once again thanks for choosing our place and am glad that you enjoyed the court and large space. Regards Bimal

BIG HOUSE!

First impression was how large and roomy the property was. Big open lot with no signs of neighbors. Rooms were all oversized with comfy beds. We spent most of our time playing basketball and other games in the indoor court. It was the highlight of the trip! The house had most of the basics needed but there were some things missing we would expect a vacation rental to include. It was a surprise when we tried baking some french fries but there was not any baking sheets to use. Another surprise was the single TV in the house that didn't have cable or apps to use. We had to resort to casting which worked with some phone apps but not all. Lastly, the pool was not clean nor swimmable when we arrived. After communicating with the owner, a pool guy showed up and cleaned it. Unfortunate for us, it took most of the day to clean. With the high level of chemicals afterwards, we didn't feel comfortable swimming. The owner and I were able to negotiate a resolution for the inconvenience. All and all we were happy with the house short of missing the pool time. We will consider this one again if we revisit the area.

Thanks Preston for the review. Yes, that is exactly we also like about our house, the huge rooms and space and yes the basketball and pool. I am sorry the pool had issue, it was very well all summer, not sure what happened suddenly. The pool professionals took so long to fix it and is fixed now finally. And thanks for the feedback will add few TVs for sure and will add those small things which will be helpful for guests. This home was amazing. The basketball/raquet ball court is such a rare find. The pool is kept in great condition. The host is very polite, and accommodating to extra guests if you are clear and honest with them. I highly recommend this for large gatherings!
