Situated right in the heart of downtown Utica! This upstairs loft suite is beautiful and right above one of Utica’s best known restaurants Skoogs Pub and Grill. Walk out the door and you are steps from restaurants, shops, museums, bars, and so much more. No car needed to explore this great historic town! You will have access to bicycle rentals to bike to Starved Rock State Park as well and that can be set up for you!

Quaint Stay

Our stay at the Mill St. Suite is always a welcome respite from the road. We have stayed here multiple times and are always pleased with the cleanliness and amenities it offers. The host is friendly and quick to respond. The only hesitation in leaving a review is that we’d rather like to keep this little gem our secret!

Mill Street stay July 24'

This stay was planned very last minute, and we could not have been more pleased. The suite was beautiful and though it's above a restaurant/bar there was no noise. We hope to return for a longer stay.

Even better than expected

I’ve got to start by saying, the pictures don’t do this place justice. It is much larger on the inside than I anticipated. The location is perfect, we got to listen to live music from right outside our windows. My daughter loved taking a bath and chilling by the fireplace. We checked out this morning, and we have already discussed trying to make this an annual trip. Really couldn’t ask for more, 10 out of 10 for sure!

Cute and convenient

Nice property and convenient to Starved Rock and for visiting Utica. Very clean! It would be nice to have window treatments on the arched windows as the street lights shine all night. Also important to note that you can hear bar music and patrons late at night. Bars state they close at 9 pm, but that wasn’t the case. I would recommend if you’re looking for a cozy and convenient place to stay.

Relaxing suite in the midst a small town.

The best place to be while visiting the local parks and hiking trails. The street below has various food, bar and coffee options. The rental was clean and cozy! Exactly as described and pictured. Very happy with our 3 night stay.

Weekend Getaway

Booked this property at the last minute for a quick get away. Had plans to hike Starved Rock. The property was perfectly located in Utica. No need to drive anywhere once there. Hope to visit this property again in the near future.

Fall Trip

My husband and I love taking a fall trip to see the colors. Unfortunately we were to early this year but, we still enjoyed our stay and the beauty of Starved Rock and Mathison State Park. The suite was great , I’d say the only bad thing was climbing the stairs to it.

Nice stay

Cute, clean and comfortable place to stay. Right in the heart of town. Good restaurants and ice cream shop right across. The owner replied almost immediately what ever question we had. Property was lovely. Tons of room and well appointed amenities. My only criticism is the GunNews publication found on the entry table. this type of publication is totally inappropriate here!! Was a real turn off to say the least!!

Lovely, large suite

We really enjoyed this surprisingly beautiful, new suite, right in the heart of Utica on Mill Street. Very nice touches, whirlpool bath, plush towels, nice ambiance, gas fireplace, comfortable bed, quiet, incredibly spacious, with kitchen amenities and Keurig coffee. This town is always bustling with great food and drink, starting with Skoog’s right downstairs from the apartment. Great hometown feel, nice staff, great grill food. Also went to fun event, Truffle Shuffle at August Hill Winery down the street and made our regular stops at Canal Port and Bruce and Ollie’s. Everyone in this town is sooo nice!
