Beautiful home. Stayed here with my kids ND we loved it. I wished it was a little closer to the beach as we did a lot of beach time and walking down with all the equipment, not really ideal. Other then that it was good.

Great Place!

This a clean, well decorated and maintained condo. Close to the beach and downtown. It was perfect for our family vacation.

Perfect Home Away From Home!

Exceptional location that walking distance to the beach, peer, local shops and restaurants! Garage parking was awesome considering parking near the beach is always a disaster. Highly recommended for families!

The location was great for our stay. The amount of room was great for how many people we had staying there. We raised concerns with the owner about the general cleanliness and the showers being moldy. We had to clean the showers ourselves to get rid of the mold. The internet went out and several switches didn’t work correctly, these were fixed during our stay. The washer didn’t work correctly or spin the clothes dry so every load was left sopping wet, that was not fixed during our stay. The front fire pit would work half the time. This place worked for our week stay but I wouldn’t stay here again, and the value for what we paid wasn’t there. Either as much as we communicated about the lack of cleanliness and things not working there was no attempt by the owner to compensate us for everything that was wrong with the property.

Great Oceanside Location

Exactly as seen in photos. Great location within short walking distance to towns shops/restaurants and beach. Having the private garage is a great convenience. Only improvement item is that WiFi tends to be spotty.

Wonderful stay

Beautiful house, located in a great neighborhood. Besides being walking distance to the beach, there was a street fair 1 block down that added to our fun. My children enjoyed all the arcade/games, I enjoyed the multiple different living areas, and my husband enjoyed the grill. Thanks

Review

We enjoyed our stay at Pirates Treasure. When I first inquired about the property I got not response after sending a message twice through VRBO. Check in was at 4 but when we arrived at 4 they were still cleaning and didn't finish until 4:30 which was frustrating. The property was in a great location within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. We found a nice beach on the north pier. We also had some issues with the grill not heating up to a high enough temperature. Just a few minor issues but overall we had a nice stay!

We are so sorry and embarrassed that Amber sent two messages to our reservations team through VRBO that went unanswered, we will be talking with that Team about this, as it is completely unacceptable. Regarding her late check-in, this is also not ok. The cleaning team fell behind that day and we apologize for that, that is a rarity. We absolutley understand how frustrating it is to not be able to check in at the time promised, we are so sorry. So happy to hear Amber enjoyed the location. We did rectify the BBQ temp issue. For future guests, if you ever encounter an issue like this, it is best to call/text/email the Guest Services line right away so we can handle the issue immediately. We have tried to reach out to Amber many times about this review and the issues she had, but she has been unresponsive. Again, we are so sorry, we know how frustrating this must have been for her :(
