The House on Rose Hill - Downtown C-Ville Living

Welcome to this highly livable, fun 3-bedroom Charlottesville home that`s conveniently located in the middle of everything! Less than two miles from the downtown mall, UVA, and JPJ Arena, you`ll have all the perks of being close to the action, while still having a home base in a cute neighborhood with great indoor and outdoor spaces to enjoy with friends and family. Years spent in Guatemala have allowed us to collect some really unique furnishings that makes this home really special!

This house is such a warm and welcoming space! One of my favorite things is the possibility for single-story living -- two bedrooms are on the main floor with a full bath, kitchen, and main living spaces. The second story with its secluded treetop master suite and private bathroom is also one of the best things about the house! The big back deck and the unique furnishings also top the list.

Please note that Charlottesville City homestay regulations permit a maximum of 6 adults and any number of children at a time staying overnight. Thanks!

The Rose Hill neighborhood of Charlottesville is special for its central location in Charlottesville and its peaceful, woodsy streets and yards. Close to several parks as well as the UVA and the downtown area, I love the quiet residential feel of this neighborhood and all of the surrounding greenery!

This neighborhood is totally walkable to downtown Charlottesville and UVA for those that don`t mind a little hike (about a 35-minute walk to either place.) Or hop in the car and you`re only 7 minutes away from either! Bus routes run throughout the city (there`s a stop practically outside the front door and Ubers and Lyfts are plentiful as well!

Parking at the house is free, easy, and plentiful.

Please note for reservations booked and paid for through VRBO, a $500 temporary hold will be placed on the credit card on file prior to checkout in place of a traditional security deposit.

This is not a charge—it is simply a temporary authorization. The hold will be automatically released within 4 days after your departure, provided no damages or issues are reported.
