The house is charmingly decorated in cabin style and appears to have been recently updated. Many of the appliances seemed new and they all worked well. Furnishings were comfortable, and the laundry and kitchen were all well supplied with the items we needed. Being able to use the kayaks to explore the Narrows was really special! The hosts were helpful and responded to our few questions promptly. This is a beautiful area, and a really comfortable base to explore it from.

This was our 3rd year staying in this cabin. Great hosts, very clean and hosts are so accommodating. Just great! We only wish the main bedroom had a king size mattress. But, not a big deal ...overall, a great cabin!! We thank our hosts!!

Already looking forward to next time!!

My husband and his family grew up on Chateaugay Lake and have such fond memories — especially of jumping off the bridge. When we needed to come up for a family graduation party and to celebrate his aunt’s 80th birthday, we started searching for a place to stay. It was surprisingly difficult to find something available — until I remembered VRBO.We are so grateful we found your cabin. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and so was the couch (though we didn’t spend much time sitting!). The location truly couldn’t have been better. Being right by the “jumping bridge” was such a meaningful touch, and we were only a few houses away from both his aunt and uncle’s homes, which made everything so convenient.We also really appreciated having the washer/dryer and the air conditioning — especially with the heat. The kids loved having WiFi, and all the nieces suddenly wanted to stay with us for that reason alone! Thankfully, our kids were more interested in fishing and swimming, so they barely touched their phones.Many memories were made during our stay, and we’ll definitely be back.Thank you so much!PS - take a morning kayak cruise. Its so peaceful with the Loons Also youre not far from Tasty Freeze — some of the best ice cream!

We loved our stay! We were celebrating with family who had a camp up the road but loved our accommodations. The air conditioning was a real plus. We used the canoe and watched kids jump off the bridge right by the camp. Communication was easy and clear. Very well appointed camp and we’d would definitely rebook!

Fantastic stay!

We have stayed at many VRBO's over the years and I would say this one ranks in our top 3 for cleanliness and amenities. The accomodations were fantastic and the home was well stocked. We especially liked the small beach for swimming with our 2 year old grandson. Sandy and Robert were also very responsive to our requests. We will definitely be back!

An absolute pleasure.

Upon arrival, obtaining entrace was easy, as was direction on where to park. Inside it was very neat and clean with everything we would need. The outdoor seating, deck and view was terrific, Couln,t ask for a better place. Thanks to our hosts.

Excellent stay!

This is a fabulous find. Everything listed is as it says and then some. It is right on the lake with its own dock. Cabin is adorable and has everything you could need except for clothes and food. Perfect place for young and old alike. The owners are great also, restocking wood for campfires when he sees it’s low and are available if you need anything . This is a gem in the mountains!

A slice of heaven

Just a perfect location, friendly neighborhood, everyone waves. Robert and Sandy are exceptional hosts. Spotless , cozy cabin. Very comfortable beds, kitchen has everything you need, plenty of outdoor entertaining and relaxing spots. Loved the fire pit. Loved drinking my coffee on the end of the dock. Had a nice run on the Lake rd,, just a relaxing getaway. Cant wait to return!

Great location and experience.

We had an awesome time despite bad weather. The property was very warm and welcoming for our family. The location was prime spot and we enjoyed our stay.
