Clean Concrete Room
Let me preface this by saying I need to start reading the listings more thoroughly! Perhaps it said in this one what I needed to know and DIDN'T.
1. I think of a "studio apt." as always having a kitchen. No kitchen here.
2. Third floor walk up! No elevator.
3. Be careful with eating in the room. Ants.
4. If you want somebody to sweep, put out the sign.
5. INCREDIBLE LOCATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!
6. Clean, clean, clean.
7. FABULOUS HUGE bed!!!!!!!!
8. Maybe the most important thing to mention is that the room is small. Behind the bed's headboard (about the length of the headboard) is a portion of a wall that runs ceiling to floor. And behind that wall is the bathroom. There is no door to the bathroom. The toilet portion is out of view behind that section of wall, but you can't close it off. So sounds and smells are shared with anybody in the room. We've been married so long that we weren't too embarrassed, but others might be.
9. The building is clean and security is 24/7 and very polite.
10. WONDERFUL coffee shops across the street and restaurants and parks EVERYWHERE!!! Yoga, pilates, barre, just about anything you might want close.
