Let’s go Lions!

Came down for the Lions vs. Texans game and has an amazing time, there are some great breakfast places within walking distance of the location. It was close enough to the airport and downtown. Clean and cozy loved little tight for more than two people but was perfect for a couples get away!

Very clean, very cute property. Parking is tight but adequate. Neighborhood walkable with restaurants within a mile from property. Bathroom items such as shampoo, conditioner, bath gel provided. No coffee items provided other than coffee pot. Bed is a full not queen. Small table and chairs on covered porch was nice spot for drinking coffee and listening to birds. Overall nice stay and have already recommended to another couple.

Just right, great location,

The apartment had everything I needed. Clean and a great location. Enjoyed nice walks in the neighborhood. Small parking spot was too small for my Honda Fit to get in and out of easily, but street parking was fine. They told me this upfront, so it wasn't a surprise.

READ THIS POSTING BEFORE YOU RENT

The interior of the apartment itself had been renovated nicely...however did not state it was on the second floor in the listing. The exterior of the property has not been maintained...building has missing boards, needs painting...and rotten cross ties in the parking area. The stairs leading up to the apartment are rotten in some places and railing is wobbly. Amenities listed washer/dryer/iron/board/safe/desk. It should have stated on premises for the wash washer / dryer as they are located downstairs in the front building.NO ironing board or Safe...the desk was a fold up about the size of on old tv tray table. The laundry room was always filthy...trash stacked high for the 3 weeks we were there and no one every took it out. The parking spot for the unit is way to small for even a sedan. There is 4 parking spots in the back and the one for this unit is the farthest next to the fence and directly in from of the stairs leading up to the apartment. Very difficult to get to and park with any other car parked in the back. Majority of the time had to park down the street as there wasn't any parking directly in front. The closet was filled with a roll away bed, cleaning supplies and fold up desk....we didn't even have room to hang our clothes because it was jammed full. We did contact the host and they graciously came and pick up the excess stuff.

Thank you Kathy for your Feedback, our property is located in the greater heights which makes it a historical building full of charm and character. What you mention as rotten is actually flaking paint and not rotten, our property gets inspected after each guest and there is no report of loose rails please be watchful of false claims to property that are owned by independent owners as false review can hurt our small business. Also what you mention as parking “down the street” is right infront of the building, I’m sorry this was a walk to you and your husband as you did mention your husband is over 80 yr old, we do provide a reserve parking space for a car infront of the apartment but for trucks and suv there is free street parking available located right infront of the building like any apartment unit. The Cozy stay is wrapped in a warm design, beautifully decorated. for you to kick back and relax in this calm, relaxing space, I’m sorry your negativity didn’t let you see this as I didn’t find any good feedback in your comment as all of our previous guest who have enjoyed their stay! We’re always looking foward to improve our guest experience and take very serious every feedback so we’ll continue to work to improve our guest experience to make this space a wonderful stay in the greater heights!
