Everything was absolutely wonderful!! Clean, cozy, even decorated for Christmas!! The owners are not only reaponsive and diligent, but also 2 of the nicest people you could ever meet! I will be staying here for every trip back home.

This home was a sanctuary for our family during a very difficult time. We traveled here last minute following the passing of my grandmother, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to gather. The house is located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood and was spotlessly clean and cozy. It truly had everything we needed—it felt just like being at home. Since we stayed during the holidays, the hosts had thoughtfully put up a Christmas tree and decorations, which brought so much light to our stay. We were even able to host family members for a home-cooked Sunday dinner. This stay was very special to us, and we are so grateful for the comfort it provided.

All amenities exceeded our expectations, Property was clean and completely outfitted with everything one could ask for. Our host was extremely attentive and welcoming, I high recommend this property for anyone making an extended stay in the Beckley WV area. We are looking forward to our next stay. Only one thing that I would mention for improvement is that the pumpkin spice air scent from the air freshener was way to strong.

Pet Friendly, comfortable furniture and bedding. Power outlets in bathrooms needed and a sink would have been nice in the second bathroom. Host was great and back porch and hot tub was awesome after the long days of hiking.

Loved our stay! The house is roomy, very clean, and even though it is in the middle of a small town, it feels very private. We loved hanging out on the back porch. Peggy adds a lot of little touches around the house to make you feel very welcome. This property was exactly perfect for our 2 teens, my MIL, my husband and I. Thoughtfully appointed, VERY clean, and with cute fish to feed to boot! Cannot recommend this house enough for a visit to Beckley and the state park close by.

The house is older but very beautifully decorated. I love the sunflower tree in the living room. We really enjoyed the back deck, watching the birds and a baby rabbit. The koi pond was pretty too! Host was very responsive, house was extremely well stocked and very clean!

Peggy is Wonderful

The best thing about this property is the host . She and her family are so accommodating. We really enjoyed the covered back deck and spent most of our time out there. The house is older but clean and comfortable! The rooms are decorated so cute to the season. We probably won’t be ever be back to the area but if we were we would stay at Peggy’s Place .

The house was in a neighborhood which was unexpected. It was clean and well stocked. The neighbors' dogs barked most of the night, which was bothersome. The owner was receptive and friendly when we reached out due to hot tub confusion. The location was convenient to many sites.

A whole family trip for a wedding

I arrived in Charlotte NC and drove in through a winter storm. Peggy took my call and helped me navigate the trip so well and described everything I needed to do to get there safely. She attended to every need we had and even had decorated a tree for Valentines Day. Even though we were not able to enjoy the wonderful things outside on the beautiful porch, we had plenty of room to accommodate our family members and to be able to sit together

We enjoying spending time with our family, cooking out, riding our ATVs and side by side on trails. I love hosting on VRBO and meeting wonderful guests and introducing them to our beautiful state, local restaurants, our amazing tourists attractions. We are retired and easy to reach and available. We like to think of our visiting families and friends as guests upon checking in but after hosting them we hope they check out as our friends.

This neighborhood is private, safe, with wonderful neighbors. It’s so convenient to gas stations, groceries stores, restaurants and so much more.

We have a small koi pond in front which we leave food for the guest to feed them if they like. We have a beautiful home that’s has anything a guest would need including very comfy beds, 4 TVs with surround sound and a very spacious covered back porch with grill, cabinets table chairs, covered bench. We have a 8 person spacious hot tub with Edison lighting on the covered porch also. We have a fenced in back yard and fire pit with seating. All this for our guest to enjoy.
