It's the perfect retreat at the end of each day, offering landscaped grounds where you can dine alfresco, watch your children play in the yard, and unwind in the shade of lofty Douglas firs.

This home is located in the Wedgwood neighborhood of Seattle, a location that gives you easy access to the entire north side of the city. The University of Washington, Green Lake, the Woodland Park Zoo, and the shores of Lake Washington are all within three miles. Venture just a bit farther and you can find yourself downtown (seven miles) or catching a spectacular sunset at Golden Gardens Park (five miles).

Step inside to be greeted by a living space full of mid-century style, where walls of picture windows bring in the beauty of the natural setting. You'd never know you were in the city as you recline on the sofa to stream movies, play board games at the dining room table, or step into the kitchen to get started on dinner.

A number of little touches make this home particularly special. There's a dedicated office nook where you can log onto the WiFi with a view of the garden. Families with children will also feel welcome, thanks to the provided high chair, booster seat, baby gate, kids' bikes, and Pack 'N Play. Leave the day's clothes to refresh in the washer/dryer in the basement, sit outside in the breezeway with a glass of wine, and retire to two comfortable bedrooms for a restful night's sleep.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
