The kitchen had everything you could want...dinnerware, cooking pots, pans, utensils, barware, china. The host was extremely responsive and has great advice regarding restaurants, etc. Very convenient to Boston and points south.

Great location and wonderful hosts.

We had everything we needed at this location, and the quick communication from the host was above and beyond. Small issues were remedied immediately, and they helped us get what we needed for our plans (a cooler for example). Very thoughtful leaving a large amount of breakfast and snack foods to start our trip! 15 minute walk to the train, but very easy Uber ride to the city as well. 3 minute walk to the beach! Comfy beds too. We would stay again.

perfect for a large family

Great location. It is really close to the beach (easily walkable), and good food is nearby. Clean apartment, plenty of space for lots of people. We had eight and could have fit a lot more. Kim is very responsive. Had a small issue with one of the doors, and it was fixed that day. If we go back to Boston, I would absolutely reserve this place again and not hesitate. It's a steal for the price, location, and amenities.

Great Stay in Quincy

If I was rating the host only, she would get an A. She was responsive, generous, and accommodating. The fridge was stocked worn snacks, drinks, and even a fresh chocolate cake! The space was as described with the exception of it being a 3-story home, which is also rented. Being on the bottom floor created a challenge with upstairs “floor noise,” but this was no fault of the host. It provided plenty of space for a vacation in Boston. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Quincy was highlighted by our host, Kim. The apartment was as described and easily accommodated all twelve of us for our four night stay. We toured Boston and Plimoth Plantation from this location and enjoyed visiting the nearby beach after our daily excursions. The most memorable part of our stay was the care, interest, and attention that our host showed for all our needs and questions. She provided help with directions, places to eat, and special spots to visit. The kitchen and living room was perfect for our needs, and we had six children ranging in age from 2 to 12. I had thought that previous reviews were too generous but our host made this a great trip and I would go back in a heartbeat.

A short walk to Wallaston Beach and a 15-minute drive to Boston. Kim and Danny were responsive, generous hosts that treated us like friends rather than temporary guests. Our family of five was very comfortable throughout the week. Plentiful amenities and everything a family would need. We strongly recommend this property.

Wonderful Place to Stay

My children and I stayed here for a week. The location is perfect. I sat at the beach (a one minute walk!) for hours each day. Two of my kids commented to Harvard each day (recommend Uber!). The drive is a bit longer during rush hour but it is easy to get down to and around Boston the rest of the day. Kim and Danny are excellent hosts. They go over and above for their guests. We truly had a marvelous time and I highly recommend this listing.

Nice neighborhood

We had a group of 12, 3 generations. With a large group the bedrooms and bed setup are important. All the sleeping arrangements were exactly as stated and were comfortable. House was clean and kitchen had everything you needed. Kim, the owner, sent great directions for using the subway, places to see, and restaurants in the area. Any questions I had were answered quickly.Quincy is a really nice community. Quiet, a walkable area that is close to the subway. Our group from 2 1/2 years to 70, were all able to walk to the subway easily. We had rented a car, but there was little need for it. The Subway or "T", was so easy to use. We were there for 5 days, bought a week pass for 22. It goes most places you want to go. Boston commons, Fenway, colleges and with a little help from the commuter train, Salem. We also boutht a 3 day Go City pass that gave prepaid enterance to most tours in the area. We loved the tour of TD Garden, USS Constitution, Freedon Trial, Salem Witch Museum and do not miss out on the Real Pirates in Salem. Book a time for the boat tour and go into th aquarium while you are waiting. The beach is at the end of the block that made a great location for family pictures.
