Thank you for your kind review! We're so glad you enjoyed your stay at A Deer Haven and found the cabin clean, quiet, and true to its name with all the deer sightings. The mountain views do change with the seasons, and while the lush summer foliage creates beautiful privacy, the long-range views are even more spectacular during the cooler months when the leaves have fallen. We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back for another relaxing mountain getaway! Take care, Sherrie

This lovely cabin with a nice view and community river access at Fleetwood Falls entrance offers guests a great opportunity for rest and enjoyment. We are rural in Ashe County and do not have public trash pick up so we ask guests to take it the day before departure or pay housekeeping a small fee/tip for time and gas.
