Family Wedding Destination

Our family of 19 has a great stay at this home in Weatherford! The rooms were large with nice bathrooms, plenty of seating at tables to eat, spacious home and the cousins loved hanging in the game room with the fun games and theatre room. A perfect fit for a large family with kids. Thank you!

Fun times

We enjoyed this place. The underhouse table is huge and fit us perfectly. With a propane grill and sink made cooking easy. Really nice and quiet property. Walked around. Went to the Granbury downtown with the sandy beach. Kids loved it. The interior of the house is roomy and fit our group of 16 well. Upstairs is very cool.

Fabulous Property!

Our family of 10 stayed here a week - ages 1 to let's say 'Seniors'. Everything was just as we expected, and more! The attention to detail for all the amenities was superb. The children really enyoyed the playroom. All beds were very comfortable. The owner was very attentive to all our needs I would highly recommend this property!

Great Family Vacation

The property was incredibly well maintained and had a number of amenities that made our stay very enjoyable. We had a big family reunion and the large kitchen and dining room was the perfect size for everyone to visit. We also thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor kitchen that came with a glass grill and a working sink. The owners provided a fantastic amount of communication and everything from reservation, to check-in, to check-out could not have been any smoother. I would highly recommend this property.

Perfect Getaway

We absolutely had a blast at this place, plenty spacious and an awesome open concept. Looking from the outside you would never think how awesome it is inside. Kids have the entire upstairs for movies and games plenty of seating for adults downstairs. Very awesome room set ups and more than enough space for outside fun! Cookouts footbal fishing you name it A+

Graduation Party

This property was the perfect location to host my son’s high school graduation celebration. We had plenty of room for family and friends to gather. The kids loved the play room upstairs. The house was very clean and upscale. Communication with the property manager was very prompt and effective. I highly recommend this property for your stay.

Girls Weekend

Fabulous place for girls weekend! There were 9 of us & all were able to have a bed to ourselves without climbing up to a top bunk! 2 huge dining tables (1 for snacks, puzzles & 1 for eating). 3 couches in the living room so we could all sit together. Great outdoor area-we were allowed to gather limbs & make a small fire for making s'mores. The location is great-only 20 minutes to downtown Granbury. Home sits on the river-you can't really see the river from the house or backyard so it wasn't a plus (or a minus). We did see a deer run down to the river across the backyard. Our list of Pro's: lots & lots of beds, a/c worked great, floor plan was a huge plus! And even with the list of Con's we still would go back! Con's: kitchen is very sparsely equipped (only ONE dishtowel & one sponge), there is a 2 cup liquid measuring cup but no other measuring utensils (no dry measuring cups, no measuring spoons), no whisk for cooking or potato peeler, no tea (serving) pitchers, no baskets or other decorative bowls for putting snacks and fruit in. While there were a few kids games upstairs, there were no cards, games or puzzles for adults. There is a bug zapper on the kitchen counter that is LOUD! It doesn't go off often but when it did we would all jump. The only other negative is that there are neighbors on each side. One had a party with tons of cars and music into the wee hours. Be aware there are stairs going up into the home so a little tiresome making trips to carry items in.

We're sorry to hear that you felt like you were missing a few items in the kitchen and game room. Regarding the potato peeler and whisk, they are indeed available in one of the drawers, and we apologize for any difficulty you had in finding them. We do provide a variety of bowls in the cabinets for fruits and snacks, and there's a welcome basket with snacks on the dining table. We had a pack of cards, but it appears that it was taken by one of our previous guests. As for the bug zapper, we apologize if the zap noises were unsettling, but being located in a wooded area by the river, our location tends to attract insects. We have screens on all windows and doors to minimize their entry into the house, but a zapper is sometimes necessary to eliminate them. We're sorry to hear that you experienced some noise from the neighbors. Unfortunately, we don't have control over their actions or activities. We hope to see you back soon!

Perfect for a family gathering of multiple families. Plenty to do for kids of all ages which was a huge plus for us. Many close accommodations for groceries near by and shopping. We had a wonderful time here.
