We’re centrally located to Hocking Hills, Old Man’s Caves, Lake Hope State Park, and Ash Caves in South East Ohio. We have the most beautiful area that Mother Nature has. We’re dead center of Wayne National Forest. You can drive in or fly in to see most impressive natural beauty that nature has to offer. An outstanding stay at a very nice and clean house. Everything was just perfect including the location. The hosts were extremely friendly and provided info for some attractions in the area we would have easily overlooked. The location was out of the way and very quiet, which was just what we needed. All of us look forward to visiting again, hopefully for a longer stay next time.What a great time to build family memories!

The property is perfect. Very clean, kitchen is well equipped. Highlights are the front porch and the bird feeders, so much wildlife! Nick and Dinah are great hosts, very responsive and helpful. Don't let the airport deter you, it was very quiet.

Great place to spend a weekend

Nice and calm place. Had a wonderful stay. Owners were friendly and helpful. Love the airplane theme decor in the house. Kids got goodie bags of plane toys which was a surprise. Thank you for all the comforts during the stay. Highly recommended to stay at this place.

Great getaway stay

The home was very clean and is well-maintained. The location is perfect for a quiet getaway just a few minutes to get downtown and to several popular locations. We will definitely book again on our next trip.

We had such a wonderful weekend at the Airport House! Nick greeted us and was so helpful and friendly. We could tell he really takes pride in their house and making sure their guests are comfortable and have everything they need. The house was so nice and clean and the area is so peaceful. It was neat to see the airport right across the street and even see a few planes take off one morning. This was one of the best rentals we have ever been to, house wise and host wise. We 100% recommend it and definitely hope to be able to come back again soon!

Everything was great! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook. Nick gave us great dining options and ideas of things to do. We were told to call if we needed anything.

Amazing stay

I booked this property to hang out with a few friends, we had drinks, played games, cooked and talked . The owners we nice and accommodating. If there was an issue we got a hold of Nick who helped us out. The stay was amazing for a few friends to get together and hang out.

Absolutely amazing stay. Great communication with the property managers, who were incredibly gracious to our children. Beautiful home and facility. Great location relative to local area sites (hiking, winery, etc). My four year old was already asking about going back.

The house was OK. The beds were clean. There were dirty dishes put away, especially the silverware. The dishwasher was dirty. It is listed as a four bedroom home sleeping eight which is not true. There are three beds and a cot. A pull out Couch in the living room is not considered a bedroom. We did contact the host on VRBO message and did not get a response.

Nice place

Our reason to stay in the area was to go to Hocking Hills to hike and explore for a couple of days. This house is about 20 minutes from the park. We made breakfast in the well equipped kitchen. The owners were great, communicated right away when I asked questions prior to our arrival. Nick came over that night to ask if everything was as promised, gave info on the area and said that we could call anytime if we needed anything.

Cozy & Fun Place

We were greeted by the Host & felt welcomed right away . He showed us all around and where everything was . Such an adorable cozy place that fit our family perfectly! We absolutely loved the airplane theme ,very unique . The beds were comfortable & had an Xtra air mattress and cot as well . Plenty of dishes, appliances ,coffee/ tea , games etc ! We definitely recommend this place and would love to stay here again sometime! Thank you very much for making us feel welcomed. Our weekend stay was very nice!

Nick and Dinah are actively enjoying retirement. Nick has yearly hosted, literally thousands of local folks as well as people from all over the USA and parts unknown. He, with a bit of help, puts on Ohio’s largest *FREE* Air Show. At our little airport Air Show we’ve had everything from World Renowned Pilots (and their Aircraft) Wing Walkers and Flying Lawnmowers! He hasn’t missed but two years of putting on this Show, once was 9-11 and the other during Covid.
We love hosting our guests at Airport House and take pride in trying to make their stay with us perfect.

The scenery here is 99.9% quiet with the exception of the yearly air show in September and a very rare once in a while evening we get the pleasure of the most awesomely HUGE black helicopters come and practice a maneuver or two. I won’t say where they come from, who they are or why we’re so lucky to be the ‘spot’ but for me, it’s AWESOME!
