Die Frink Beach House befindet sich in der privaten Wohnanlage von Ocean Isle West. Das Anwesen erstreckt sich von Ozean zu so klingen hat einen herrlichen Blick auf Wasser auf beiden Seiten zusammen mit Sonnenaufgang auf der hinteren Veranda und Sonnenuntergang auf der Vorderseite. Es gibt einen privaten Pool mit Rutsche und Jacuzzi-Badewanne und einem Dock, die direkt zum Meer. Das Haus ist geräumig (alle Schlafzimmer groß sind) und hat viele Fenster, einschließlich Oberlichter in der Haupt-Wohnzimmer. Es hat eine offene Design mit viel Platz für sich innen und außen hängen. Es gibt eine separate Wohnung unterhalb der Hauptteil des Hauses, wo eine Familie bleiben konnte und haben ihre eigene Privatsphäre. Die Wohnung besteht aus einem Schlafzimmer, Bad, Wohnzimmer und Etagenbetten mit einer Küchenzeile. Es gibt einen Balkon von den direkt am Meer 2 Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss und einem vollen hinteren Veranda, die die gesamte Rückseite des Hauses erstreckt und mit Blick auf den Ozean.

Perfect Memories!!!

I HAVE to say that this experience from beginning to end and overall was absolutely amazing and left us wanting more!!! Checking in/ checking out was a breeze, the house had all we could need and more. Our family loved the location, the back dock and the beach walk way. Truly one of the best vacation experiences anybody could ask for! The pool was clean, spacious, perfect for a medium to large family. The kitchen was fantastic with plenty of room to cook and entertain. Rooms were spacious and the bottom apartment was extremely nice as well! We look forward to experiencing this again and will try to book this house yearly (it is our first choice moving forward)!!!! Absolutely in love with this place!

Can’t wait to come back!!!!

This house was perfect! We have a large family with 4 children and 1 grandchild, and we all wanted to stay together. The house had plenty of space for all of us, plus a few friends and my mother-in-law. It was spacious and beautifully furnished and the beds were very comfortable. The private dock across the street on the sound provided to a of enjoyment with fishing and even a local friend came to see us on his boat. The beach was great! Plenty of space and privacy if wanted, and if it got a little windy, we would just go to the pool. The wind didn’t hit us at the pool and there were plenty of chairs and places to sit. Aimee was quick to respond and very accommodating. We can’t wait to go back!

Great location, but house is poorly maintained.

I want to start by saying we enjoyed our stay and the location of the property/outdoor features (like the pool and sound access) immensely. However, the house itself was very poorly maintained. The cleaning done before was arrived was subpar. We found dead insects on the floor in multiple areas, hairs in the bathroom sinks, the couch had crumbs on the cushions (right on top, not down in the cracks), shower curtains were stained/dirty, pillows had large stains on them. We had to do a light cleaning when we arrived, which was disappointing. On top of the cleanliness, things were just poorly maintained. The dryer didn't work properly and required a load to be ran 3-4 times in order to be dry. The A/C for one of the upstairs bedrooms didn't work at all, and when we reached out to the property manager they said they'd send someone first thing Monday - but no one ever came. A lot of the furniture was dated. Overall, it just isn't the quality of rental we are used to getting for this amount of money.

Hi Jesse – Thank you for the feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed your stay and the location. I’m sorry that the cleaning was not up to par. If you had told me upon check-in I would’ve had someone come and go back over the house. Unfortunately, there are always bugs at the beach so we spray regularly hence the occasional dead ones. I was not aware there was an issue with the dryer so we’re addressing that. We typically replace the shower curtains and pillows at the end of the season so that is also in process. As for the A/C, I wish you had told me the man never came. I assumed all was in order when I didn’t hear from you again. Best, Aimee

Spacious and views all around

The house was so spacious. All the rooms were large and quiet; once you go to your room, you don’t hear any noises from the living area or other rooms. My extended family went and we all felt like we had plenty of privacy in our spaces. The view of the waterway from the street side living room was such a beautiful bonus. My family would hang out in that room to talk and we loved all the windows to see the waterway. The pictures don’t do enough to show how spacious the two living rooms are and connect to each other nor the wonderful views. Also not well illustrated, are the two seating areas heading toward the beach. The first area is a large covered picnic area with lots of seating and shade and great location to see the beach and ocean. The second spot is at the end of the walkway that stops right on the beach with built in benches. It was the nicest walkway compared to all the others around us. We sat there the last day and tried to take in some last minute moments looking at the beach. The kitchen is dated and though the cabinets could really be replaced, the appliances are new and it functioned just fine. We’ve stayed in OIB dozens of times and the location near the point (so amazing at low tide!!!) and the view of the waterway make this house more unique than the others. There’s also plenty of parking. We didn’t need all the spaces, but we liked having both our vehicles in the garage and out of the sun. The pool was great. Overall, a wonderful family vacation.

A Great Family Vacation Home

This vacation home is perfect for large families visiting beautiful Ocean Isle, NC! The home is uniquely located between both the sound and the ocean, so families can enjoy views of water from both the front and back of the house. The private pool, private beach access and amazing outdoor decks and space provides an unforgettable vacation experience. The owners of the property are great with communication and booking was easy! I would recommend this vacation home to others.

Perfect Views and Access to the Beach, but the house is dated, not clean or well stocked

Great location both beach and sound access. We have a good time anywhere and love this particular beach. However, the house is not professionally cleaned or kept up. Kitchen utensils poorly stocked, drawers not clean, house just need attention and care. For this price we had other choices and should have taken them. However, access to beach and sound were remarkable.

Hi Casey. I wish you had told us that you needed additional utensils. We would've provided those right away. We will check the supply and replenish. Regarding the cleanliness, we hire cleaners and supervise them each week to make sure they go above what the rental companies cover. However, we will certainly check the drawers this week to be sure those are clean. Glad you enjoyed the beach and sound access! -Aimee Frink

Great Location on OIB

The beach house was very comfortable to live in and provided enough space for everyone. The pool was refreshing and relaxing after a sunny time on the beach. A plus was the many queen beds in the various bedrooms rather than smaller double beds. The grilling area with a large gas grill under the back porch was outstanding.

Wow!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the beach! This house was extra large and the space was accommodating for everyone. The open concept was conducive to hanging out and working puzzles which we like to do. The bedrooms are HUGE! We enjoyed beach access and the sound dock and actually rented paddle boards for the week.

Would rent again

This was the perfect property for our large extended family. The common areas are spacious and the bedrooms were over-sized and comfortable. The water to water access provided our active family with many options for activities. We enjoyed the pool, direct beach access and the dock area on the sound. We spent every afternoon on the back deck and even enjoyed many meals out there. The owners were gracious and assisted us with the few minor issues we had. Overall, it was a great rental and we will be back!

Renters Beware!

We have rented a lot of houses via the Internet over the years as we are living abroad for the time being. This was by far the most disappointing. The location, pool, and open floor plan are great assets, almost justifying the higher price. Unfortunately the house was poorly maintained and very dated, causing us to apologize over and over to our guests.  Specifically, the only half bath for guests had a hole in the wall and the toilet didn't flush properly, there was no handle on the oven door (they are waiting till there are no renters to fix this!), a broken ice maker caused them to remove a cabinet door exposing an area unsafe for our grandchildren, broken/faulty cabinet and trash/storage doors in the kitchen, LOTS of dishware but only 2 small cabinets for food... The list goes on with smaller inconveniences like no strainers or stoppers for the sinks, and non-working fans in 3 of the 4 baths. Also, there are no sheets and towels for this house so tack on additional cost and inconvenience for your beach trip. Oh, and just plan on paying the cleaning fee as the requirements ask for things such as cleaning the windows inside and out! To be fair, they did send someone out to fix the AC twice the first week when we called and might have addressed some of these other things, but I don't expect to have to do all of this on my vacation. My advice; Look before you leap! For the asking price there are much better options available on the island.

A wonderful place to get away to

My family stayed in this home for a week during July 2011. The house met all our needs and exceeded our expectations. The home was clean and comfortable, and we loved the open floor plan. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of items to make meal preparation easy and efficient. The pool is a great size and design and proved very refreshing after long days on the beach. There is no shortage of seating inside and out. The owner is extremely responsive and a delight to work with. I highly recommend this property if you and your family are looking for a place to relax and enjoy the quiet, beautiful beach of Ocean Isle.

We designed and built our beach house in 1984. We live close by so can accommodate any needs right away. We've been renting the house every summer since 1984 and have many repeat visitors.

Unfortunately, we have one less than stellar review on this site from August of 2011 and I am frequently asked to address it. The referenced rental was at the end of the summer and some of the points made were valid at the time. ALL were addressed immediately when pointed out as they would have been if reported at the beginning of or during the rental period. Many of the points were highly exaggerated and I truly believe the guest who wrote that was just unhappy in general with her choice and so listed any and every detail she could find that wasn't perfect. She sent me a list of these things on the last day of her 2 week rental asking for a partial refund and it was obviously too late for us to improve her experience. We have had no similar complaints before or since this review. Rest assured, our house is safe and very clean and everything works. If something doesn't work please let us know right away and we will get it resolved as soon as possible.
