Welcome to The Burlington Getaway! In town for a wedding? This spacious historic home is perfect for your group—minutes from venues and a short walk to downtown.

With space for 9 guests, it’s ideal for families and friends. Plenty of room to get ready, gather between events, and relax after the celebration.

Enjoy historic charm with modern updates, plus easy access to shops, coffee, and restaurants. Lake Geneva, Alpine Valley, and Wilmot Mountain are a short drive away.

We utilize cameras on our property to ensure house rules are being adhered to. There is a camera on our front door as well as on the garage facing the driveway. The is no surveillance inside the house.

This house was perfect for our stay. We had 3 sets of couples staying together, and the space never felt cramped. Everything was very clean and welcoming. The street the house is on felt like it was out of a movie. We walked everywhere and felt very safe doing so. I hope to be back again and will certainly rebook if available.

A great place to stay for our golf group of 8. Plenty of sleeping room and the property had everything you could think of. Very clean with great decor. Thanks for the hospitality and we will be back!

Great house in a great location!

Jen’s house was perfect for our family weekend. Plenty of beds for kids and adults, big yard for the kids to run around in and a great kitchen to work in. Walking distance to downtown Burlington and echo lake park and a big playground. Would definitely recommend to others!

Wonderful house, GREAT location

We stayed her last weekend for our annual trip. There was 8 of us in the group. We ALL loved this property. It was the cutest VRBO I have ever stayed in. The location was great! Jen was very responsive to our questions. 10/10 recommend this place!

Leisure weekend

We had a large group of all adults stay and the house was perfect! We don't get to see each other often so this house was great because we had plenty of outdoor space and seating plus Indoor areas to hang out! Jennifer was an amazing hostess and provided us with things to do in the area and left a great binder in the house with a guide about the house. The house had so much charm and the decor was beautiful! I would definitely stay here again!

One of the best

I have never left a review before for a property but this place deserves and A++ The property owner was immensely thoughtful. The house was so well stocked with basics and the property itself is gorgeous. Only pit fall is no on site washer and dryer but there is a clean and very nice laundromat not too far down the road. Would book again. And again.

More than happy with our stay in Burlington! Jen clearly takes pride as a host, going above and beyond in both her communication and her provisions of several small items (coffee bar, bug spray, spare hygiene products, to name a few) that make it clear she cares about her guests. Our group of 7 enjoyed time around the firepit one night and headed to a wedding ceremony and reception (in walking distance) the next. Thank you, Jen!

Highly Recommend

The property was very clean, nicely decorated, and spacious. The kitchen was the best I've seen at any rental I've been to thus far. We were just minutes away walking to downtown Burlington and a 20 minute drive to the Lake Geneva area. Jen was super accommodating and friendly. She was very quick to respond to any questions we had prior to and during our stay. She informed us about local events going on as well as updates made to the property since booking. Overall, a great stay and I would definitely recommend Jen and her space.

First time VRBO renter - great experience

I don't often take the time to leave reviews, however, the host (Jennifer) was awesome. She was very responsive and accommodating. We were in town for my son's wedding in late March. Wouldn't you know it, the overnight and morning of the wedding they were forecasting 5-8 in of snow! Jennifer contacted her snow removal service and had them prioritize us. As for the property itself, it's an older house that has been remodeled throughout. Very quiet neighborhood and a great place to rent!

Hi! We are from Chicago and love coming up to Wisconsin to get away from the city. We love that while we can relax here there's also plenty of things to do. We want to share our home with people in hopes that they can enjoy it as much as we do.

We fell in love with Burlington the first time we came to visit. It is such a quaint family orientated town with so much to do. We are also close to so many popular destinations like Lake Geneva, Alpine Amphitheatre, Milwaukee, skiing, and boating. But don't feel the need to leave town! With so many budding businesses there's so many things to see and do from eating and drinking to shopping.

When we bought this historic home it was in dire need of renovation. We saw so much potential and charm in this beautiful old home. While is was no easy task and there was plenty of blood, sweat, and tears, it was worth it to see the finished product. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do.
