New Years getaway

Cana Rock Star is located near the Hard Rock. We enjoyed the walk out pool at the condo and 3 days at the Cana Bay Beach. A highlight was watching fireworks from our patio on NYE! You will need to rent a car or a golf cart to get around the Cana Bay and Hard Rock properties.

Cana Rock Star

Excellent stay over the New Year. Condo was clean, property manger was responsive to questions and with recommendations. The walk out to the pool was a bonus. Not part of the Hard Rock resort but you are able to access the resort for a fee. There are other restaurants and the beach club for use. Definitely will need a car or golf cart for ease of getting around but Uber also works. Overall great stay and will plan to be back.

Hard Rock

The property was really big and there was only 2 eating options within walking distance. Ventanas restaurante which was really good and the swim up bar at the pool which wasn’t so good. If you stay here having a rental car is a must. The town is near by and so is Macso beach. You have everything you will need in the apartment and everything was in good condition. The a/c worked great and our unit had really nice ceiling fans also. In all I would stay here again but next time I will definitely rent a car.

Just Right!

This place is beautiful and just far enough from the resort craziness. Literally 3 min drive to the hard rock and beach club area This Condo is on the property. Its very nice beds are great very comfy place was clean. You have the swim up pool with swim up bar for drinks and food. The beach club you can access for a small fee. And thats beautiful as well quite too. I would recommend bringing lil things like tide pods coffee pods and garbage bags from home. Also if you are not renting a vehicle I would recommend that you have your cab stop at the Super Market before your arrival or possibly renting a golf cart to tour the grounds once you arrive. We loved it here!

Visit to Punta Cana

We had a wonderful stay from 12/22/24-12/29/24. Overall the property was nice and as expected. I would like to note the following for future guests:- there is no coffee pot as the host indicated (not a huge thing unless you really wanted to drink coffee every morning by the pool)- linens were VERY limited; there was only 1 beach towels (for 4 people), no hand towels, no towels for dishes- paper towels were limited or not provided and toilet paper was EXTREMELY limited. No dish soap was provided. This isn't necessarily an issue but would have been nice to know ahead of time so we could plan accordingly.We had to relocate to a different unit on the 2nd day because the A/C wasn't working in this unit. It was appreciated that we were relocated though it did take a long time and a lot of "proving" that the A/C wasn't working (after spending one VERY hot night in the unit). The second unit we moved to was missing a shower handle, had no oven/Ninja for cooking, had water leaking in the bathroom from the air vent and the WiFi was a bit clunky.As mentioned, our overall stay was great, just want future guests to know about possible issues. It should be noted that the staff was generally great to work with and resolved issues quickly.

Overall the condo was nice, clean and new. However, amenities were slim. Only 4 bath towels and 4 beach towels. I needed to buy a lot of things I wasn’t expecting. I needed to buy- kitchen towels, bathroom hand towels, laundry detergent, dish soap, dish cloth, extra bath towels, more sheets, blankets and pillow cases, garbage bags. Listing said it slept 6 but no extra linens for the pull out bed. Would have been nice to have an instructions on recommendations on where to go to buy things, nearby restaurants, golf cart rental, directions on how to get to the beach and beach club would have been nice too. Communication with host was not great once we arrived.

Tuvimos una mala recepción, ya que no habían avisado en la caseta de vigilancia de nuestra llegada, por lo cual nos negaron el acceso hasta que les llegara la notificación, la cual tardó alrededor de 40 minutos! El departamento estaba bien pero las regaderas estaban sucias, tenían cabellos, fuera de eso todo bien, alrededor del departamento tienes que caminar como 10-15min para llegar al hotel hard rock, es lo único cercano para poder accesar a un restaurante; para cualquier lugar tienes que pedir Uber y el traslado aprox es de 25-30min Si vas a llegar a estos departamentos, te sugiero pasar antes y hacer un poco de despensa, ya que no hay absolutamente nada cerca
