First we want to thank our guests for the 5 star review! Unfortunately there have been quite a few storms this year and if it storms the day before or the day of arrival there is not much we can do. We are not sure what the guest means when they say "towers"

We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay to level of giving us a 5 star rating. This is the first statement we have received about the kitchen appliances and utensils. Everything is in fine working order but we will look at the kitchen and consider the upgrades mentioned.

First we would like to thank out guest for the wonderful 5 star review! In regards to the property manager we also have our 2 cell numbers listed as contacts and never received any call or text about the WiFi , HOWEVER we are so glad they got it figured out. Our property Manager is available 7 days a week and on more than one occasion I know they have assisted guests in the late night hours as well as on weekends. I have worker with Andrea, my property manger , for over 10 years and they have always been responsive and polite. I am so sorry if the communication in someway broke down on this particular stay

First we want to thank our guest for the very nice review!! In regards to the patio we do apologize however it is often a difficult situation, The patios are cleaned when the unit is cleaned and they are usually clean when guests arrive providing the weather cooperates! However on July 12 we had a massive storm with winds gusting to 45 MPH and almost an inch of rain. Also it continued to rain on the 13th which ,we are sure caused, the patio to look as described upon the guests arrival . This unit sits on a 5 acre wooded lot with tons of beautiful trees but those trees can often times cause the patio to be messy! Our property manager would have been happy to come back and redo the patio if the guests would have called. We do our best to have the units checked the day before guests arrive but if it is raining there is not much than can be done on the outside. Again thanks to this guest for the nice review and we wish they would cave called to have the porch redone!

All of our renters are made aware that the front door has a lost key function which requires the door handle to be lifted at the same time that the key is turned and we provide written instructions on how to operate the lock. These guests did not read the instructions or forgot them so they could not get the door open which is the purpose of the lock! We had guests depart the same morning that these guests arrived and again the guests were told that check-in time was 3PM. Our cleaning company arrives at the cottage ,strips the beds, then washes the sheets while cleaning the cottage. As the sheets dry the towels are washed and by the time the towels are put in the dryer the cottage is clean so they leave to start another job and an hour later they return to fold the dry towels. When the cleaning company returned the guests were in the cottage approximately 30 minutes before check-in time so the cleaning company did not return to fold the towels.. Many of the lamps in the cottage will only work if the wall switch is turned on and these guests failed to turn the switches on so the lights would not turn on at the lamp. We could not find any broken drawers in the cottage only one drawer knob that had come off which we have replaced. The cover over the toilet seat in the guest bath was broken and we have replaced it. For 2 months, prior to these guests arriving, we had been remodeling our basement in our house next to the cottage and the contractors had been driving equipment through our front yard which obviously destroyed the landscaping. The basement is now complete and the yard has been repaired and new landscaping has been installed. The biggest disappointment about this review is that at no time did the client contact us during their stay to request that we address the issues. Anyone who has stayed in any of our properties knows that we respond instantly to any questions or problems. Until this posting we have never had a review with less than 4 stars!!

Unfortunately things happen and the furnace to the house did break but was fixed the very next day. I do believe that situation put the guest in a much more critical frame of mind and thus the one star review. The guest just before this guest gave us a wonderful email about how wonderful their stay was and as can be seen our reviews are top notch. HOWEVER we do take this review seriously so we will be taking the unit off the VRBO Market starting May 1, 2021 for no less than 60 days to refresh the unit completely. Obviously this is costly but we have never had a one star review before and never want one again.

Unfortunately there was a 3 week period of time when we were out of the country and during that time we were not around to take care of the details , such as landscaping etc. That is also why we could not be reached. we do have an on site property manager who responded promptly and did an additional clean. Our water is public water and even though we have a softner it does come out red at times for a few seconds. If you read all previous reviews you will see this issues were an isolated situation.

First of all we would like to apologize to our guest!! Unfortunately the day of the guest's arrival the water heater in their reserved unit broke, leaking water excessively so the water had to be turned off. Fortunately we do own two rentals on the same property and our property manager was able to get the guest into our second unit. Due to the change unfortunately all the pertinent check in information that was sent to her was no longer valid. Prior to the guest's arrival we had let her know that we would be in France during her stay and to contact our property manage if there were any problems which she did in regards to access to the unit, the Internet password and other issues. Unfortunately our property manager does not have the check in instructions so they went to the unit and let the guest in personally, before 3PM. We have not had any complaints in the past in regards to a musty smell but we will look into it. There is a towel hook near the shower but it may have been over looked. All in All we take all the blame for having to switch units and for the break down in communication! If we would have been in the USA I'm sure the communication would have been excellent as it always has, in the past, as shown in previous reviews, as for the hot water heater breaking ,this is a part of the rental business that we cannot control. Our cell phone service is provided by Verizon and we have no problem with cell service however some other services have fewer towers and service for them is sporadic throughout the Reynolds community. Again we apologize for the inssues !

Thanks to the guest for pointing out these items. As absentee owners we depend on our cleaning staff and these reports from guests are very important. We will be giving all of these issues our full attention and they all will be corrected!

First of all thank you to our guest for the very nice review HOWEVER we are a little surprised at the 3 star rating in as much as our VRBO listing does not state water front or golf course front but clearly states the unit is set on a 5 acre wooded lot which our guests have truly loved!! As for the gate we can only report the names we can't do anything from there and there are sometimes computer issues, however we do have an on site property manager that can admit guests if for some reason we cannot be reached.

First we want to thank our guest for the review and the information about the sofa etc. Cob webs can form over night so now we have started a process to have our cleaning company visit the unit before guests arrive to tidy up in addition to the check out clean. We have corrected the sofa issue as well. Thank you again for the input

We want to thank the guests for the wonderful 5 star review and totally appreciate the info about the sofa beds! We have asked our property manager to put in place a policy that will require the cleaning staff to open and clean the 2 sofa beds every time that the unit is cleaned.
