The property is about 50 steps to the beach and close to shops and restaurants. It was also very clean, but that’s pretty much where the positives stop.
The night we arrived, the light in the bedroom wouldn’t turn off because the remote wasn’t working. While we were pressing buttons on the remote, one of the fan blades broke and flew off. We called the emergency line for property management because we were afraid the fan would fall on us. They told us to sleep with the light on and that they’d be out the next day. They did replace the fan the next day, but we had to sleep on the very uncomfortable sleeper sofa bed. Everything in this house is too small. The bed is maybe a double. The shower was so small I couldn’t even bend forward to wash my legs. There were only 5 bath towels provided for two to use the entire week, with no washer and dryer accessible. There was no bath mat, and the shower curtain wasn’t wide enough to catch all the water, which often flooded around the toilet area. The hot and cold water faucets in the shower were difficult to turn, which left us either scalding hot or freezing cold for showers. There was no dishwasher and very limited kitchen supplies. The stove was so cheap and made noises for about an hour after turning off, and we were concerned about it being a fire hazard. The oven mitts were so cheap I got burned. The Internet went out a few times, causing the AC and tv to shut off, & we had to wait for everything to reset once it came back on.
