Tuani Lodge-off grid eco Casitas close to the beach

La Vista is a small Eco-community just a few minutes outside hacienda iguana in a quiet, breezy valley and shares it's forest with an array of wildlife including monkeys, iguanas, and countless species of birds and butterflies. Tuani Lodge guests are granted unconditional access, by land, to the entire length of playa Colorado, a swell magnet beach break pulling in waves year round! We are located in the middle of Nicaragua's offshore wind corridor, which boasts offshore winds all day 300+ days a year! Our Lodge has a Main House and 3 detached bungalows. The main house has 2 private bedrooms and the lodge common areas. It is tastefully furnished with cozy seating and shared dining areas, a fully equipped shared kitchen and an impressive floating balcony. The private bedrooms are comfortable rooms with queen size beds, ensuite bathroom and a balcony. For family/groups who seek a more spacious option, we offer loft style bungalows with a private bathroom featuring a natural stone shower. With 2 single beds upstairs and an option of 3 single beds or a queen size bed plus 1 single bed downstairs. the kitchen, patio, dining area and barbecue areas are shared spaces with other guests. amenties such as the refrigerator, coffee maker, coolers, barbecue and Blender are free for all the guests to use.

As an isolated off grid vacation home we recommend that all guests have a vehicle during their stay with us. the beach or Playa Colorado is about 20 minutes walking through the forest trail and 25 minutes to the nearest tiendas (just inside the second gate of hacienda iguana). everything in iguana is overpriced so guests who don't want to over pay for things should go to the tiendas and restraunts outside iguanas gate. driving to the beach through the locals village of Santa Martha is a pleasant 6 minute drive to the sand. in the rainy season 4x4 is sometimes a requirement (may and October are typically the wettest months).

our location in La vista propiedades is between the two gates of hacienda iguana. Playa gigante and popoyo are both about 20 minutes drive. playa Guasacate is another 15 minutes beyond that.
