Property was in a nice complex near a good spot in the beach. Property had plenty of room. However, some minor negatives were how far away the parking spots were. It was a long walk with all of our things for the kids and us. Additionally, a bigger negative was the cleanliness. The floors were very dirty; I understand sand on the floor at the beach, but this was just dirty, like turn your feet black. The bathrooms were also very dirty. The tile grout in the primary suite shower was very dirty and the shower curtain in the second bathroom had black mold. The sinks also did not appear to be clean. The kitchen was not so good either. The Keurig coffeemaker had dead bugs in the water reservoir. The kitchen garbage can were gross and many of the knives had rust on them. Also, the patio furniture on both porches was very dirty. While we appreciate the opportunity to stay in the property, I expect a lot more for cleanliness, especially with a cleaning fee charged to us.

Great short trip!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The property was great with close access to the beach, the pool, and lots of activities on the island. The only negative is that there are a lot of stairs to navigate inside the property…bedrooms are on the second floor and the living area/kitchen are on the 3rd floor. Overall great place to stay and Emerald Isle is amazing!

Great place!

Had a wonderful stay during the kid's spring break. The condo had all the necessary ammenities, a wonderful view and close proximity to several shops and restaurants. There were beach chairs and sand castle toys if you desired to take to the beach with you. Access to the pool was not granted just because it was outside of the season but it looked like it was still maintained and getting ready. The shops immediately below the condo were also not in operation due to our stay being before the normal open season. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Wonderful condo

The building is very new and very clean. The location is only a block off the beach. The furniture was quite comfortable and had a very nice kitchen.

modern condo in a convenient location

We had a great week at Emerald Isle and the Golden Drum condo is a great place to stay for a family getaway. Great ocean views off the front deck or sit on the back deck to watch the kids at the pool! We hadn't been to EI since 2019, this place didn't exist then I don't think, it's all really new. There's some cool retail shops that share the same development and you're just a couple blocks from a Publix and Food Lion if you like to eat in. The kitchen is well stocked for most home chefs, we had everything we needed. The kids liked it too (ages 16 and 20). Easy beach access and the pool is a good size. Overall, two thumbs up!
