The River Cottage is nestled right in the heart of the historic village of Sperryville in Rappahannock County, Virginia. This charming one story private structure was built in the early 1900's - owned by John Kiger. The building, now on the National Register of Historic Places, was originally a blacksmith shop. Conestoga wagons were made behind 29 Main Street along the Thornton River. It has been renovated into an quaint open one bedroom suite with private bath and is superbly appointed for guests to enjoy!
