The recent remodel was very well done. The place was very clean. No bugs. Good beaches nearby and great snorkeling. Because there is no AC, you need to open the windows to stay cool, and the unit is on the road side of the complex next to the parking lot. It can get noisy at times, but in terms of value for the location, it is a good place.

We had an amazing stay and the property was fantastic, the unit was nicer and better laid out than many others we saw. Check in and check out was easy. The condo community gathers in the afternoons/evenings. The snorkeling was out of this world. I have never seen so many turtles in a single snorkel (and multiple trips made each day). Would definitely return to this complex and this unit. We do wish there was a hot tub…

Super host! Excellent communication! We contacted Graham before the VRBO reservation window because we were planning our 50th anniversary trip with our family. He held the days open for us & offered to email us when it was time to reserve with VRBO. Shortly before our stay he sent us a very comprehensive guide of things to do, restaurants, groceries, snorkeling gear rental, etc. The property access, check in & check out instructions were easy to follow. The unit was roomy & well appointed for a group of seven. The location perfectly situated to enjoying snorkeling, boogie boarding, swimming & walking the coastal trail without having to get in the car.

Excellent!

We had a lovely time staying here! The views were incredible and having a pool right on property was perfect for our kids (ages 7 & 8). We enjoyed snorkeling in the private cove and were glad the property had many pool and beach amenities to use. We would definitely recommend staying here and will be back!!

Paradise Cove

We loved our stay at Honokeana Cove. The property was updated, clean, and well equipped. The view and the snorkeling was fantastic!

We have three children — Esther, Micah, and Josiah — and we understand how meaningful vacations with family and friends can be. We chose Honokeana Cove because it offers a quieter, more authentic Maui experience while still being close to everything we love about West Maui. The neighborhood has an incredibly relaxed atmosphere with beautiful ocean views, tropical landscaping, and easy access to some of the island’s best snorkeling, beaches, and restaurants.
What we enjoy most is the peaceful setting and the connection to the ocean. The cove itself is truly special — it’s common to see Hawaiian green sea turtles swimming and resting nearby, and the sunsets from the property are unforgettable. The area has a welcoming, laid-back feel that makes it easy to slow down and enjoy island life.
We also love that Honokeana Cove is conveniently located near Napili, Kapalua, and Kaanapali. Guests can easily explore nearby beaches, hiking trails, golf courses, local shops, and great dining, while still returning to a calm and quiet oceanfront retreat at the end of the day.

Unlike large crowded resorts, Honokeana Cove has a peaceful, welcoming community feel with beautifully maintained tropical grounds and some of the best sunset views in West Maui. Unit 217 is positioned to enjoy stunning ocean views, cooling trade winds, and the sound of the waves throughout the day.
The condo is fully equipped for extended stays and family travel, with comfortable living spaces, a well-stocked kitchen, and thoughtful touches designed to help guests feel at home while enjoying everything Maui has to offer. Its location is also ideal — close to beaches, restaurants, food trucks, snorkeling spots, golf, and nearby Kapalua and Kaanapali, while still feeling tucked away from the busier tourist areas.
