Two stars as this property itself was great and it's hard to tell whether the review impacts the property or the booking agent. The processor for the booking, Bnberry DBA ComfortStays, RoomPicks,Miami Exclusive LLC, whoever, was unwilling to accommodate a change in reservation due to a gotcha policy where no actual damages occurred. The customer service is sterile and liability cold in a gaslighting way that ignores your concern completely while paying platitudes to interest about your issue. As a first time customer of their service, it seems wild to be so rigid about unexpected circumstances and unwilling to work on an amicable compromise solution to meet need. After some review online, it's clear the company is a shell experience gobbling up and spitting out properties they know nothing about directly and making margins on their rigid policies. I will avoid RoomPicks and anything similar to a 3rd party within a 3rd party processor like this. I will have to avoid VRBO as well for risk of running into other agents like RoomPicks. VRBO has the power as a platform to do better. RoomPicks wil do what they do and justify and ignore as there is no accountability to a single customer experience (and likely no actual process of review for more, otherwise the perspective reflected online in a simple search would be reflected here.) The impact of an experience on the customer is huge. The imapct of the follow up and review on the company is powerless.
