Summary:
Relax & chill in our 2 BR, 1 bath home nestled in a sweet, quiet multicultural, diverse neighborhood. It is the perfect retreat to call home between activities. Just off the highway, it's minutes from the Cuyahoga Valley Nat'l Park, Pro Footbal Hall o Fame and centrally located to all Akron events. Cleveland is just 30+ minutes for sports events or the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. Central to everything, yet on a quiet dead-end street that's convenient to the highway. Dog Friendly- $15 /day per dog

The Space:
You'll love the very large Kitchen / Dining Room Open concept with a large countertop bar that seats 4. The kithcen has all the amenities and utenlis you'll need to heat up left overs or cook a full meal.

The Living room has a sofa and loveseat poistioned perfectly for wathcing TV and conversation. There is a 50 inch Roku TV that will stream the Spectrum cable line up as well as many another streaming options with your own login.

This house was fantastic. It was clean and it was convenient to attractions that interested me. The neighborhood was very quiet which that alone can cancel out a lot of place. Everything worked, there were no issues experienced. Definitely recommend.

We had a great experience for our first VRBO ever! The property was easy to find, the house and property are very clean and the appliances were easy to use. The beds were comfortable. Communication with the owners was great, we never encountered a problem throughout our stay. We felt completely at home during our stay.

Everything was as advertised, we had a great time. It’s located in a great spot at a dead end street which means less traffic. I do wish they had ceiling fans & a TV in the bedrooms as I get hot at night, but otherwise it was nice.

Practically Perfect in Every Way

My husband and I visited Akron to see family and friends. This house was cozy (two bedrooms, 1 bath) but beautifully redone, all conveniences provided down to kitchen supplies, soaps, shampoo, Fenced yard was an asset with our pup along. Location offered easy access to entire area. Highly recommend.

Cute, quiet, and cozy

The house was perfect, super clean and very well stocked. Julie thought of everything. The neighborhood was very quiet and the neighbors were friendly and kind. We loved our stay. Julie made herself readily available and her communication was great. There's great restaurants in the area and plenty of things to do (Edgar's is a must if you love good southern food!) We will absolutely be staying here again next time we come back to Akron :)

Great little home that is very cozy.

My son and I stayed here while in town to pick up a puppy. The home is updated and well apointed. The bed was very comfortable and the appliances were new. The backyard has a dog yard that is separated from the rest of the yard for folks that don't have dogs to enjoy. In the basement there is a washer/dryer as well as 2 dog crates and a basket of dog supplies, like a bed, towel, dishes and poop bags. I will totally stay again.

Great house

House has been recently renovated. Beds are very comfortable. Easy check in. The front porch was great to have coffee in the morning. The back yard perfect for dogs. And the large utility sink in the basement was very appreciated. We had one issue that was quickly resolved, so communication was quick. Overall, great house. The neighborhood was quiet, though there was not much we could walk to. Easy access to the highway though and plenty of great places within a 5-7 minute drive.

Clean Comfy Cottage

My family and I stayed at Julie’s property for the 4th of July weekend. My partner and I both commented to each other at separate times during our stay, what a great little place it was. The beds were very comfortable, and the house was impeccably clean and neat as a pin. While small, the rooms offer plenty of space and the layout of the entire house is very nice. The kitchen was perfect for what we needed for a couple of meals I cooked in-but the surrounding area also had some fabulous food choices. We were close to various attractions and to downtown Akron itself, plus proximity to highway access was massive plus with this property. Julie was an incredible host and very communicative. She made check-in easy as could be, and the code entry doors were a huge plus for ease of check in. If you ever need a place to stay, this is a fabulous choice!

My dogs and I really enjoyed our stay in this house. It was exceptionally clean when we got there. Even the dishes were clean, which is something that does not always happen at rentals. The neighbor that I met was very nice and made me feel welcome. The location was perfect for what I needed. Just a short drive to the things that I wanted to do. The checkin process was super easy and the hosts responded right away when I reached out them with a question. They even made it so that my dogs actually felt welcomed there. A lot of other listings say that dogs are welcome, but then make you feel guilty for having them. I truly can't say enough nice things about this rental.

Clean, convenient &dog friendly

This property was great as it was close to the wedding venue and reception. I needed a place that allowed dogs as all my dog sitters were at the same event. The back yard was perfect for the pups and the property overall was very clean and had mostly everything that we needed. ( I wanted an actual coffee pot because my family and I drink more than a pot each morning, but there was coffee provided) Not knowing the Akron area well, this wasn’t a terrible area, but definitely could have been better.however, I felt save and had no issues. They also had a variety of pillows to choose from which was nice and when I had to contact the owner with an issue they responded immediately and were extra helpful. My one big complaint was that the wifi kept kicking us out when we were trying to watch the football game on Saturday, but all in all it was a great stay and I would recommend it and stay there again.

We will be back!

It’s always such a relief having great communication with an owner and feeling comfortable in the space they have provided. The location for this rental was awesome— just 20 minutes or so to Blossom (my husband and daughter were in town for the Dave Matthews Band concert) and also a short drive from Akron as well as downtown Cuyahoga. The house is clean and comfortable (the beds were especially comfortable!) Another reviewer stated that the bedrooms were too warm, but it was in the high 80s when we stayed there and I think the bedrooms stayed nice and cool. We were famished when we arrived, so the kids were excited to be greeted with a basket of snacks! TV was simple to log into, and my son and I enjoyed a movie night with Thai takeout while the other two were at the concert. Bathroom shower was clean with great water pressure. I could write a whole separate post about all of the awesome things we did in the area, including beautiful hikes, and an amazing brewery, but I don’t know what my character limit is! Suffice it to say that we are already planning a return visit.
