Located close to Mammoth Cave NP & Nolin Lake, Wanderlust is perfect for getting your rest for the next days adventure. The listing offers a shower stall with soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, towels, and cotton swabs. The Bedroom has a tv viewable from the King size bed; lamps with USB & USB-C charging outlets; and a large picture window with shades. There is a desk in case you need to do a little work. Coffee pot that allows for pods or freshly brewed beans - which we also provide. A mini drink refrigerator, microwave, utencils, plates & bowls, and a dining table.
The Outdoor space is a fenced in yard with seating, fire pit, & shade umbrella. The yard is shared with guests staying at the adjacent apartment.

This place is cozy and fun. The bed is absolutely amazing, so comfortable! The fenced in yard is great for pets. The entrance is around the back of Peoples Bank, which gives a little more privacy from the main road.

This was perfect for a spur of the moment trip, which ours was. Cost was what talked us into this much needed trip. We love National Parks and having Mammoth Cave National Park so close was perfect. Room was a little musty but we turned the A/C down and that disappeared fast. I would suggest making the Two outlets by the bed into the ones that have USB ports with regular plugs. I totally forgot our plugs but had the cords. Other then that it was just what we needed.

Wonderful stay!

We enjoyed our couple of nights here and would come back! Location was great to the National park. Bed was comfy as well. We walked to a little coffee shop each morning and enjoyed that as well.Only small issues were WiFi and light- could really use some curtains. Or a deal breaker if youā€™re an early riser anyway.

Perfect weekend getaway!

We drove over from Knoxville to enjoy Mammoth Cave for the weekend. Todd is a very communicative host! He informed me that Wanderlust (our original reservation) had roof damage but their adjacent unit (listed as ā€œQuiet Apartmentā€ in Brownsville) was available. The ā€œQuiet Apartmentā€ (also called Hickory and Bee) was lovely and we were thankful for the option to stay there.Mammoth Cave Visitorā€™s Center is about 20 minutes away and there are so many tour options, make sure to book ahead! There is a little grocery store and a few restaurants in Brownsville. You have a fridge available if you want to bring food and drinks.We hope to return in the warmer months to do another cave tour and hiking and will definitely book with Todd again!

Squeaky clean

The property is so clean and neat and everything was as expected. Actually nicer than expected. Itā€™s not large but everything was renovated so well. We stayed 2 nights. Bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the outdoor space in the late afternoon. The coffee that you can grind yourself was a great additional treat. Would stay here again if traveling this way.

Exceeded our expectations!

We stayed 3 nights so we had time to enjoy the caves, hiking, kayaking & the little town (Webbā€™s, Best Way Pizza, PJā€™s, Mass in Sunfish). Very relaxing! We used the fire pit one night. The unit was very clean, tidy, & had some appreciated extras (coffee, tea, popcorn,) would definitely recommend!

Comfortable and quaint

Great, quiet location. Accessible to all tourist attractions, without all of the people. I love the layout of the home. There were only two things I wish I knew: there is a small refrigerator with no freezer, which was hard since we were there 3 nights. No hotplate or way to cook a breakfast. Overall, these are minor and I would stay here again!

Cave touring

Small and cozy apartment. Perfect for you and a partner. Location was good to the mammoth caves but very far from most civilization. Very few restaurants to choose from. Also, the home is located in a dry county. Driving 25 minutes each way to get beer was cool. Other than that we had a great time. Nice little property with great people running it.
