Fully Fenced and Pet Friendly Folly Vacation Cottage 317 East

Please note: This property is in a quiet residential community and Folly Beach has a strict noise ordinance violation rule of 1 strike. Respect your neighbors, keep the noise down, and NO parties or events.

The nightly rate is reflective of the vintage nature of this home.

Clean, comfortable, and vintage! Four bedroom, two bathroom home on Folly Beach, with a spacious private outdoor deck and fully fenced in yard, lots of natural light, and original heart pine flooring. This home also features two full kitchens, one upstairs and one downstairs. Located on a safe and quiet street, the home is very private due to lush landscaping. You'll be a five-minute walk to the beach, and just a few short blocks from the beach and from Folly's famous Bert's Market; set in the laid-back residential Folly Beach community that's often referred to as "The Edge of America".

Furnishings in the home include comfy leather sofas and additional chairs, flat screen TVs and cool vintage artwork to play up our hipster vibe. The open floor plan invites use of the well equipped kitchen with updated appliances. The coffee maker takes ground coffee and has a cleanable filter, and a disposable paper filter can be used if desired. There is one King bedroom and one Queen bedroom upstairs, and one King bedroom and one Queen bedroom downstairs. Bedrooms have quality linens, bedside furniture with adequate reading light, a flat-screen TV and custom furniture cabinetry.

We are dog friendly! We have a one-time pet fee per dog: $125 up to three nights, $150 for four to six nights, and $250 for seven or more nights. The pet fee is added once your reservation is confirmed.

This vintage home is 1,900 square feet. ​​​​​​​There is a propane grill. This home has a private driveway for four vehicles, and is located very close to the beach, downtown Charleston, shopping, restaurants and much more.
As a friendly reminder, we do not allow parties or events; our homes are intended for quiet stays. This home is equipped with noise monitoring technology to ensure a peaceful environment for our guests and neighbors.

Great location and a great experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and well decorated. Location was great, close to the beach and Main Street in folly. Would not hesitate to stay again!

It's not downtown Charleston

Very nice property that has been well-maintained with everything necessary to enjoy Folly Beach (including the beach itself). Fenced in backyard with grill was a plus for our dog and for preparing meals. Management staff was very curteous and helpful.

Location, Location, Location!

This house is just a short walk to Folly Beach and located on a quiet, safe street. It is clean and comfortable. You don't feel like you have to walk on eggshells as if you were staying in someone's home. It feels like your home away from home. Great for two families traveling together as it has two complete separate living spaces on different floors. Dog friendly, too!

Great trip!

The location of the house in relation to Folly and things to do is excellent! We bought a few more beach chairs and had to bring our own beach towels - we wish there’d been a little more beach “equipment” for guests - but really overall not a single complaint. Great indoor and outdoor space, clean and comfortable bedrooms, private feeling property, very responsive hosts… this place checks all the boxes! I’d definitely use it again.

Great place for family

This was the perfect place for 4 siblings and our spouses. The two bedroom/one bath on each floor worked well up, as did the sitting rooms and kitchen on each floor. The only thing missing was a large dining table inside. While there is one on the upstairs deck, it was too cold to use it during our visit. Great ease of working with the rental company. Clean and a wonderful location.

We got an inquiry from you on the 6th asking if the home was available for additional dates. We confirmed that it was available to book, but then did not hear anything from you until the 12th. On the 11th another individual took advantage of the excellent non discounted rates. It is unfortunate that the home was booked while you were deciding. Cute place. Great Location.

Everything was great. Having some basic supplies for the first mornings coffee is fairly common and we got in late so that was our only disappointment. It’s hard to get in late and then have to leave the house to go get coffee. The small issue we had with a TV remote was handled quickly by the management company.
