We loved this place. It was a good size for our family. Well placed in Mission Beach, close enough with the beach steps away but set back enough the noise from the Strand was dampened. It was clean and comfortable. We hope to come back again.

This has been our favorite beach house yet. Loved the rooftop dinning, kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of bedroom space with comfortable beds and pet friendly!

Birthday trip

Booked for Memorial Day weekend and my husband’s 55th birthday. The rental was very clean, super cute, and perfect for our family. We did have two vehicles and finding parking for the second wasn’t easy on such a busy weekend, but would highly recommend.

Perfect weekend

We enjoyed our stay in San Diego, the home was perfect for my husband and I and our daughter and her family. The location was great, a short walking distance to both the beach and bay along with bike rentals, restaurants, Belmont amusement park.

Great property. Everything well suited for ease of use, including a well appointed kitchen, beach supplies, and close to everything else you could need. Garage is small and tight but helpful to have. Street parking is also easy to find in the off season. Thanks for a great stay.

Won’t be able to top this one

What a perfect location, house design, check in and check out process, and all of the things! It had an easy walk to public parking, Mission Beach, Mission Bay, plenty of food, shops and the boardwalk. The layout of the house was perfect for a great family vacation, especially the views from the roof deck of fireworks for the 4th of July. The property manager was ultra-responsive and even checked in a couple times during our stay through text just to make sure everything was amazing. We’re definitely coming back!

Perfect house for a family beach vacation

Everything was as advertised and the beach is literally a 2 minute walk away. House had plenty of room and plenty of amenities to make this a great home base for a family who have varying tolerances for the beach. The rooftop deck was great. The proximity to Belmont park and a zillion different restaurants, coffee shops, and stores made this an easy vacation for us. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a hassle free and low effort family beach vacation.

Beach Getaway

Great location and floor plan was perfect. my mother had the upstairs bedroom with bathroom and my wife, my 3 year and myself shared the lower level. Roof deck was nice to sit out and enjoy the sounds of the ocean over a cold drink. Parking was tricky but doable and very nice to have a garage. Only negative comment was the downstairs shower didn’t drain well and very low water pressure. I’d definitely stay here again.

Great place!

Great place, great location! Host was communicative and access was easy. The only suggestion I’d add —— there wasn’t a microwave. Not an “end all” but for families who bring home left overs, or in my case, heat my coffee multiple times while drinking it, a microwave would be handy.

Great space in a perfect location

Spent the week here with our three kids (7, 4, and 4) and it was perfect. Nice place with a great deck and views. Air conditioned (not super common in this area) and walking distance to anything you’d want to do in Mission Beach. Alley and garage are quite narrow but I was able to get our Honda Odyssey in without too much fuss. This was our third time in Mission Beach and this was easily our favorite place that we’ve stayed. At the higher end of our budget but was worth it.

Home is beautiful and looks exactly like the pictures. Clean, extremely well stocked, and central AC works great. The check in process was smooth and communication with the property management company was very fast. We had an issue with the bed in the master being very squeaky every time you moved and they sent someone out the same day to fix it. I think it's worth mentioning that the beds at this property are pretty hard and not the most comfortable. Also the garage measurements are off. According to what is listed, we should have had 4 inches of height clearance, but our vehicle didn't even come close to fitting. If you have anything other than a sedan or a very small SUV, your vehicle will not fit heightwise. Overall great property!

Nice beach getaway

We had a very nice time in the home. We are a family of 4 with 2 college age children, who no longer want to share a room. This home fit us very well. Three bedrooms were great for the all of us to have some private space. The shared spaces were also big enough for us to enjoy time together. The home was very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen well appointed. We had some plumbing issues and the host responded very quickly to send someone to assess and repair. The top floor deck was a nice space to dine alfresco. The location is great- close to the beach, bay and all the fun of mission beach.

Exploring San Diego

Our family of 5 vacationed in San Diego over spring break. We chose this location due to its convenience to the beach and it also being a short drive away from many tourist attractions. We had more than enough space for the 5 of us. We enjoyed eating dinner out on the rooftop deck a couple of nights. The property was very clean upon arrival, which I’ve found rare at other beach destinations! The parking was very tight as mentioned, but we were able to park a minivan in the garage without issues. The property management group was very responsive when I had to contact them about the hot water heater going out. They sent someone out and the electrical outlet was fixed within about 5 hours from when I contacted them.

Location is great, steps to the beach. Bedrooms were great, rooftop deck very nice. Kitchen was stocked well, but the barstools are too tall to sit at the counter.(they barely fit under the counter themselves).The listing is a bit deceptive as it says ‘entire home’ but it’s actually a portion of the 2nd floor and entire 3rd floor of a home. You access the property on the side of the house. The first floor and part of the second is another rental property. To access the beach walkway you have to walk through the other rental’s front porch area- making it a little uncomfortable for both parties. There were a few minor issues with some items, but the management company is very receptive and contacting them was easy and quick.

MISSION accomplished in MISSION BEACH

Being from a Family who loves to be pampered when we go on vacation and always prefer top tier hotels over the vacation rental category, I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised and absolutely pleased! cleanliness 10/10...wifi 10/10...TV's 10/10...supplies in terms of towels, soaps, etc..10/10..communication re: check in, parking, door codes...10/10.. I took my daughter and her friends on their senior trip vacay, I had to work the entire time, but they had an epic time....location... another 10!! I would definitely stay here again, not sure I would be welcome with my rowdy crowd, but MISSION accomplished... the girls had the best time ever and I was extremely satisfied and more than pleasantly surprised...would highly recommend!!!
