The Highlights

Lotus Blossom is a spacious 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath gulf front home in beautiful Gulf Shores. If your goal is to be directly on the beach but you don't need all the extra frills, this home is the perfect fit for you. You'll be right in town so you can take advantage of all the great restaurants and shopping that Gulf Shores offers.

The Space

The open living area features a cathedral ceiling in the living room, an ample kitchen and seating for 8 at the breakfast bar and dining table. Outside, the large water front deck offers something for everyone. The sun worshippers can sit on the sunny side, while those who prefer the shade can sit under the cover of the balcony above. There is a Queen bedroom off the living area with a private bath. A half bath with washer and dryer completes this level.

Upstairs, the Queen Master has a private bath with double sinks and a private balcony with direct gulf front views. The third bedroom has a Double bed and the 4th has a Double bed as well as a set of Twin bunks. These last two bedrooms share a hall bath. In all, Lotus Blossom will comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests.

Gulf Shores

Lotus Blossom is just a few miles from numerous restaurants and shops, yet far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle of the busy downtown area. It's an ideal spot for a family vacation and we'd love to share it with you!

Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: In regards to our visit Oct 25-29; 2023, I have never given a review on any place I have stayed. We have been coming coming to Gulf Shores for 60 years. We have stayed in most of the condos and several houses. I have never been in such dirty place as Lotus Blossom. The unit smelled horrible. The refrigerator had been turned off and had a real bad order. We had to buy cleaning supplies to get rid of the smell. The ice maker did not work. The bottom had standing water that would not drain. This also had a bad oder. We had a party of seven and there was not enough silver ware and cooking utensils for all of us. We had to purchase plastic ware. All the utensils had to be washed because they were sticky and dirty. The coffee pot under the cabinet still had old coffee in it. The furniture needs to be updated. It looked like it was picked up from the side of the road. The beds were very uncomfortable and small. Pillows were hard. There was only thin quilts on the beds. The carpet was extremely dirty. Dust was all over the ceiling fans and the air conditioning unit was full of black dirt or mold. The doors also had black dirt or mold on them. I don’t think we should have paid a cleaning fee when we cleaned it ourself! It as a lot cleaner after we left. I think the property manager should check behind the cleaners. The owners need to sell or do a make over. The only good thing was the location.

Potential to be GREAT!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Where the house is located you absolutely cant beat it. It literally is steps away from the beach, I've stayed in many houses over the past 15 years for fall break and this home is the closest we have found. Although the spot for the home is perfect, the house needs some work and updating... It was almost like the owners aren't putting anything back into house to make it "homey". We always feel like we are at home and this round we didn't. The flat screen was hung in the living room and the way its positioned you cant even watch it sitting on the furniture. Kinda odd...The floors in kitchen are a beautiful tile but since the house shifts with the wind I'm assuming is why it doesn't stay down correctly and when you walk on it if you aren't careful you will cut your feet in certain places in that area. I had read in other reviews that the house literally moves... It does!!! It is one of those things you have to see to believe and it is quite creepy to be laying in bed and feel your bed moving because the wind is blowing... We got used to it after a few nights and it was fine but it seems dangerous. The kitchen could definitely use some love, there wasn't much to choose from when it came down to cooking. We always cook a couple meals while we are on vacation and it was lacking some of the things we needed. My biggest problem with the house... It was only cleanISH when we got there. The floors were clean but I always go though the drawers and stuff making sure no one left anything anywhere (bc we have 4 kiddos) and look under the beds... I found used plates in the dresser, water bottles, cups with something growing in whatever was being drank in night stands... It was kind of gross! We always try and leave the house the way we found it .... But I've never had to clean it when I arrived.... The management company was great and easy to work with, we will definitely use them in the future. With some updating we would stay here again because its so close to beach!

The house was exactly what we expected and very clean. The host responded quickly to our questions and there are plently off attractions and great resturants close by. I would definitely recommend the Lotus Blossom to friends and family.
