Completely refreshed home 5 minutes from The Mighty Mississippi River and beautiful downtown Hannibal, MO. The new back patio is perfect for hanging out, playing a game of Bags (Cornhole), and watching the deer in the side yard. Enjoy a convenient home when you are in town for The Mark Twain, Tom Sawyer, Big River Steampunk, or any other festivals that might bring you to town.


I am available from 8am through around 9pm 7 days a week. I do my best to respond within minutes. Occasionally, it takes longer.

Great little place

We were in Hannibal for a funeral, and the location of this rental was great for our needs. There was plenty of room for our family and even a space for me to set up and work.

This property was perfectly quaint! The neighborhood was quiet and quite safe feeling. The house was perfectly located right next to the highway; we could get to Hull and Quincy in just a few minutes! The kitchen was stocked with the appliances we needed in the morning for coffee and breakfast

Suggestion to let people know that there are narrow steep steps leading up to house. The house was very nice and clean. I was pleased to see that they have almost everything you need for a home away from home.

The house was very nice and clean. The furniture in the living room could have been more comfortable but the bed was very comfortable. It was in a central location and the deer in the early evening and morning were fun to watch. Neighbor hood was very quite. I would stay again

We were very pleased with this property. To be honest my friend and I were a little skeptical of the location and a few of the surrounding homes arriving after dark, but in daylight we felt better about the location and neighborhood. The interior of the home was inviting, spotless and advertised as is. The beds were very comfortable. The host was always available and checking in with me to make sure everything was ok—which it was. The only issue with the property are the steep steps. We were a bit nervous about the steps, but we took our time and made a few trips back & forth from the car to the porch. The only reason for 4 stars is the stairs, but do not let that keep you from renting this lovely place if you can do stairs.

Cute and Quaint

The home was perfect for our needs. Clean, cozy, and comfortable. Adequate kitchen ware to save some money vs dining out for every meal. Don't let the neighborhood deter you; most of Hannibal has older homes that range dramatically in condition. The inside of this home is tastefully updated. My only complaint was the lack of supplies provided; one roll of toilet paper, and literally one squirt of bath body wash--we had to buy our own the first day. (we stayed for 4 nights). Overall a very nice place and I would recommend.

We sincerely apologize for the body wash and toilet paper. We have passed this along as a reminder to our cleaning company. Also, if you would have let us know about these issues during your stay, we would have had some delivered within hours. Please let future hosts know during your stay if there is something that we can do to improve your experience with us.

Cozy and cute

Perfect for a question quick visit to Hannibal. The house is on the smaller side but it was definitely big enough for a family of 3. Loved the new appliances and updated interior. I would have liked a dedicated space to charge my devices, and the stairs take a little work when carrying bags in and out. But overall this is a GREAT alternative to renting a hotel.

We liked it!

Spending all our "down" time in a cramped hotel room doesn't sound like fun. So we were very happy in the little house with the patio and plenty of space. It was modern and clean and looked like the pictures. It is located on a busy street, but Hannibal does get quiet around 10pm, so it wasn't an issue for us. It was very easy to drive around to all the areas we were visiting. Beds were fairly comfortable, but would like to have a choice of a flatter pillow. Air conditioning was powerful! We had to turn the thermostat to "less cold", but I know that is a plus for a lot of people. Our main recommendation is for more comfortable seating in the living room to watch TV. Do all VRBO locations ask you to start the laundry, dish washer and take out the trash? And charge a cleaning fee? We haven't been out much in the past 3 years! Yes, I would recommend this stay.
