Wonderful stay! The location and views were beautiful, the home was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed, and the patio area was perfect to relax. The hosts were friendly and very responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Home was perfect for our stay, very central in Charlotte Amalie. Check in was a breeze, and we loved the space. Only 15-20 min drive to most beaches on the island and also to Red Hook where we took the ferry to St John. Beds were very comfortable and we loved that beach towels were provided. The washer and dryer came in VERY handy as we had multiple loads to do during our 8 day stay. A/C worked great and there was a generator when the power went out one day. We were never without power. Hosts were very quick to communicate. One tip- follow their driving instructions instead of Google Maps! Would definitely stay here again.

Stunning Property, Great Location!

What an amazing property. Every detail of it was stunning and tastefully done, from the furniture, to the appliances to the landscaping. Stunning views and close to downtown. The welcome guide they sent was also so very helpful and well thought out. They suggested Restaurants, entertainment, places to see and visit along with details. I would highly recommend. We plan on coming back in 2026 and are seriously considering returning to The Ampersand!

The Ampersand is located in the charming historic part of Charlotte Amalie, only a 5-10 minutes stroll downhill to restaurants, duty-free shopping, public transport, taxis, the boardwalk, and important historical sites: 17th Century Fort Christian, Legislature Building, historic churches, St. Thomas synagogue, 99 steps, and many, many more. While the walk downhill is a bit steep, it is okay for able people, and the uphill trek will keep you fit—think of it as a bonus workout! Catching a cab is very easy if you'd rather not walk back.

Magen Bay, the best beach on the island and one of the top ten in the Caribbean is just a short 10-15-minute ride by car or taxi.

The expansive, open space is appointed with luxurious modern furniture and finishes, punctuated by local and historical art and artifacts. Encase yourself in luxury and the comfort of central air conditioning while surrounded by the architectural and cultural traces of an international port town, yet minutes away from Magens Bay and other spectacular beaches.

The Ampersand consists of a single building divided into two 2bed/1bath villas - The Sky Villa and The Garden Villa. Both villas share a lockable entry gate, but are otherwise on separate levels and completely private. **Need more space? Just reach out. Both can be rented together for larger groups, events, etc.**
