River House Retreat. Beautiful views from this waterfront property with Hot tub!

Hi,
My husband and I live in the Pacific Northwest and enjoy traveling to scenic sites. We spend our free time outdoors, in the summer we boat in front of our house on the Columbia River and in the winter we spend time snowmobiling at Mt. Hood. The local area in the Columbia Gorge offers great outdoor adventure, historical tours, and community activities.
Our " Simmons Family River Retreat " has been a blessing to us and we'd love to share our retreat with you. We want others to experience the beauty and tranquility of nature and the gorgeous river steps away from the door. We have opened out retreat for the public to enjoy by booking through airbnb. We are local business owners and are active volunteers in our community and enjoy giving back.

Huge .75 acre lot w/ garden. A short stroll from the Port's exciting redevelopment & river trail, only 4 miles West of Steigerwald Lake Wildlife Refuge & the Gorge. This one is truly SPECIAL!

The home has an open concept with a full gourmet kitchen that opens to the dinning area, sunroom, and comfortable living room. Enjoy the unique beach theme decor of our river retreat with hand painted furniture. The house is non-smoking.

The entrance is welcoming and has storage for shoes, coats, or gear.
We ask guest to remove their shoes at the entrance to keep the home clean and provide a relaxing comfortable atmosphere. We have phone charging station in the entrance so you can unplug from the busyness, recharge, and reconnect.

The living room, kitchen, sunroom, and master bedroom have expansive views of the river and nature preserve. There is a comfortable large couch in the living room.
There are three bedrooms; two with king beds and the third with multiple beds. Two full bathrooms, one locate at the entrance of the master bedroom.

The large open concept kitchen is stocked with items needed to cook and eat delicious meals. The live edge wood dinning table seat 10 comfortably. The island has seating for 4 on bar stools.

Our home is waterfront on the Columbia River with expansive views of the gorge and Mt. Hood. Walkable path down the river. Enjoy the view and watch the resident bald eagles and geese fly, hunt, bird baths up close and personal. Our river house retreat is located with easy access to the airport, highways, restaurants, shopping, wine tasting, museums, golfing, and numerous other outdoor adventures. It is situated in the Columbia Gorge with vast outdoor adventures from hiking, fishing, boating wake-surfing, wakeboarding, kayak, paddle boarding, off roading to skiing, flight school, golf, snowboarding, and snowmobiling. The newly paved waterfront walking path is accessible from the front yard. The marina and park are within walking distance.

The private sunroom has comfortable seating is lined with windows to enjoy the river view, read, practice yoga, or sip coffee.
