Clean, spacious and perfect for large family gathering. We arrived 30 minutes early for check-in...when we contacted host they said the house had maintenance there...not true, we were at the house ... they could have just been honest and said the locks were computerized and not scheduled to open until right at check in time instead of lying to us.

Thanks so much for letting us know. We do have computerized locks however we also have each home inspected prior to your arrival and sometimes our inspectors do find something that needs to be addressed prior to allowing access so that all is working/right in the property. We don't have exact timing on when our maintenance staff are in/out of the home completing those tasks so we just had a slight overlap of when that work was being completed. Sorry that it hindered your check in time a bit!

We had such a heat time at Trout Creek! The house is huge - plenty of space for our 5 families to spend a fun long weekend together. The kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfy. We’ll definitely stay again if we decide to head back to Winter Park.

Trout Creek Lodge

We took a group of 17 family members, age 5 to 72, to Trout Creek Lodge. The 6 bedrooms easily accommodated the 5 families included in our group. The kids especially liked the bunk room where they could all be together. The parents especially like the bunk room because the kids were NOT in their rooms. The house was well furnished and stocked with supplies and utensils. We set up a pickleball net in the driveway and had a great time. The hot tub was also a big hit. The location of the house was perfect. We were able to take hikes through the trees on paths just outside our door, yet it was just a couple minute drive to get back to main street. We have trusted the Winter Park Lodging Company to take care of us in the past and they were just as informative and responsive as they were during previous visits. We hope to return soon.

Great place to stay

We had a family reunion. It was 18 people and the place was great. The kids were happy in the entertainment room, sometimes we forgot that we had kids, haha. The kitchen is amazing and it has everything you need to prepare any meal. The rooms have a lot or space and the bathrooms clean.
