A beautiful, newly renovated, dog-friendly unit at PierView Oceanfront Condos. Swell Life is ready for you to bring your pup, relax, make memories with family and friends, and enjoy all that the Outer Banks has to offer!

This two-bedroom, two-bath condo features a well-equipped kitchen, filtered drinking water (no bottled water necessary!), in-unit washer and dryer, cable (in the living area and master bedroom; second bedroom has a DVD player), Wi-Fi, and three flat-screen TVs. Enjoy spending time on the spacious 24' x 6' porch with beautiful views of the sound in the distance and a peek at the ocean.

Sleeping arrangements include a king-sized bed, queen bed, and twin bed. Linens (bath towels, washcloths, sheets) are provided.

The property offers easy beach access, outdoor grills, two outdoor pools (closed in the off-season), and a children's play area.

Please note that there are stairs to climb to get to the unit; however, there is a luggage lift in the building.

Bringing multiple vehicles? No problem! Plenty of free parking is available, with premium spots up for grabs on a first-come, first-served basis.

Swell Life is centrally located to many great local attractions, including the beautiful Jennette's Pier, the NC Aquarium in Manteo, Jockey's Ridge, Tanger Outlet shopping, Bodie Island Lighthouse, Coquina Beach, and off-roading and fishing at Oregon Inlet. Fine and casual dining, grocery stores, and much more are also close by.

We had a fantastic stay at this location. Our sweet pet was welcomed and plenty of places for it to go out. The whole place was just excellent. Very clean. Had all the necessities. Host was excellent and very informative. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. Highly recommend!!!!

Unit was great - no issues. Very responsive communications from the owner. You can walk right out onto the beach which was nice. Location is in southern Nag's Hed which faciliates getting to the Hatteras National Park and Manteo.

Nice condo in a great location

Well-appointed condo, just large enough for my family of five. Nice to just walk downstairs and be on the beach in a few steps. Outdoor showers available to get the sand off of us and the dog. Timely communication from owner--almost immediate responses. Appreciated his including recommendations for dining/activities. Check-in/Check-Out was straightforward.

Oceanside Paradise, Great for Family

Our family of 5 stayed here for a 5 day summer vacay and we wish we could have stayed longer. It was so ideal! The location was primo and right on the beach. We woke and fell asleep to the sound of the waves. Great premises with two pools and a boat playground which was great for our child. Beach was quiet, private and a nice walk to the nearby pier. Our second floor unit was perfect and had everything we needed. We did bring extra paper towels and essentials which was helpful. Beds were comfy and we loved the kitchen where we cooked often. Property manager was beyond helpful and communicative. Having the luggage shoot was appreciated. Would ideally like to rent on the first floor next time. Amazing trip and would book this place again and recommend! Thanks for everything!

An excellent location and very hospitable hosts! They provided a lot of helpful information about the area and responded promptly and professionally to our questions. We loved having easy beach access and that it positioned us in the middle of the Outer Banks to travel up and down the islands and into Manteo. Some of the property is a bit older, but it was still worthwhile overall.As noted in the description, there’s no elevator (only a luggage lift). This was ok for us but something to note if you may have a trouble climbing the 32 steps.

Outer banks

We had a fabulous time! The beach is mere steps away and there is a laying out area at the top of the middle building. Here you can get the warmth of the rays, listen to the ocean waves and not get any of the sand in or on where you don’t want it.

Good Family Location

The property was very clean and quiet and we appreciate having a place welcoming of pets. Communication with the owner was excellent and super helpful. It was our first time traveling with a dog and this fit our needs well. The sidewalk and grassy are were nice for dog walking. We certainly got our exercise using the steps multiple times a day, but it was manageable for us. The kitchen items were a little on the sparse side but we managed. I had read the reviews and had planned to take kitchen items we might need and also brought extra towels. We could have used extra blankets, which we didn’t pack. Our only disappointment was the ocean view which is just barely visible from the back patio,if you lean around to look past the corner of the building. The patio still provided a nice outside area for meals and the beach was easily accessible, just behind the unit.

Great location! Nicely appointed unit!

This property is very nicely located near great restaurants (Sam & Omie’s!), Jeanette’s Pier, and a short drive to Roanoke Island and Manteo. Also, about a 20 minute drive to Oregon Inlet and the Pea Island Nature Preserve (tundra swans, herons, white pelicans, coots, and tons of ducks). The condo has a well equipped kitchen, comfortable living spaces and nice tvs. The only thing we didn’t like was the thirty two steps up to the second floor which was a bit problematic with taking the dog out (we are in our 70s). There is a freight elevator which was very helpful getting luggage and groceries in.

Perfect Location

Loved our stay here in Nags Head. It was the perfect location, and the perfect size for our family, with comfortable beds and everything we needed for our long weekend at the beach. The owners were responsive to any communication and provided helpful tips, so that we could make the most of our stay. We would definitely stay here again!
