This listing is for the owner's suite.
2 bedroom and 2 bath home with Ocean Views. Fabulous location within easy walking distance to the beach, Publix, shops, splash pad, the park and restaurants. Some of our favorites are the BBQ house, OKI Coffee Shop, OKI Scoop Shop and 49th Street Bar and Grill. We are located one block from a public beach access. We have everything you could need in one spot! You are also within walking distance of the Oak Island summer activities such as bands, movies in the park, the new skate park and splash pad.
Another benefit is free parking! Starting April 1st, the town will be charging $20 per day for beach parking. This home gives you beach access without any additional fees since you are just steps away from the ocean.
If you want the best views, rent this section of the home! You can also contact me for a discounted rate for both levels, giving you 5 bedrooms, 5 baths, room to sleep 24 people, 2 fully stocked kitchens, 2 living areas, and 2 private decks.
We decided to give a nod to one of our favorite college teams, the Appalachian State University Mountaineers, and bring our mountain love a little closer to the ocean. The name of our home is "NEER the SeA", with the "A" in traditional AppState fashion. Both of my parents are from Boone, and both attended AppState. My Mother was a huge AppState fan and a lover of Oak Island, so my son and I decided that the name of the home was the perfect tribute to her and her legacy.

There is a queen bed in the master bedroom and two sets of double beds in second bedroom. Also, the hallway includes triple twin bunk beds. You can sleep 9 of you and your closest friends.
House is located on the second street back from the beach with fantastic beach views from your huge covered porch. We provide a beach wagon for carrying all of your essential beach belongings. You will have use of beach chairs and a cooler, an umbrella and a 10 X10 canopy. For fun, there are corn hole boards and a variety of beach or yard games.
You will have tons of outdoor living space in this home with the 9 ft X 30 ft covered deck for enjoying the beautiful Oak Island sunrises and sunsets. Also, with the covered area you can still enjoy the ocean views, even if it rains. The owner's suite gives you the top BEST views. I love to watch the dolphins swim by while I relax on the deck. There is a spacious yard for play and space for parking with 3 cars limit, with room for only one oversized vehicle. Cars should be parked under the home. Larger vehicles should be parked in the driveway. All inside linens are included, but you will need to provide your own beach towels. There is also a full size washer and dryer on site so you can head back home with clean clothes.
Unfortunately, there are absolutely NO PETS or ANIMALS and NO SMOKING. I have ADA accommodations for a disability that does not allow me to be in proximity with any fur or feathers, even those that are deemed hypoallergenic. I live in this home as well, so no animals are allowed in either space.
Weekly rentals run Saturday to Saturday. Between June and mid-September, we only offer weekly rentals unless otherwise specified. Events may be allowed. Please contact me for more information.
