We are seniors who are fairly active, so the stairs weren't a big problem, so glad we were able to sleep upstairs, (though, there are sleeping accomodations downstairs). Only minor things we didn't like, but worked with in the kitchen- Glad we brought our own cooking oil- the pans stick alot! Hot tub was very relaxing!! Beds are small for those like us used to King sized beds, esp. with our medium sized dog, lol. Or pup loved snooping the yard and we lived having him with us!!

Perfect Getaway

This house and the property were stunning. My friends and I were able to enjoy a relaxing three days here and never needed to leave. Couldn't have found a better place for a relaxing retreat for us to rest and reset our minds.

Great Rural Views!

The home was very clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows were very comfortable as well. The hosts were very responsive and very fast to respond to any questions. I appreciate that there are instructions for guests on how to shock the hot tub at the end of each day - this made me confident that the hot tub was clean - they also made it very easy and convenient to do so. We stayed in early July and the views of the field were amazing. It was like a desktop wallpaper. We saw deers passing by. At night the field and the yard would light up with fireflies. It looked so magical! I've never seen so many fireflies. We also saw the biggest full moon.

We came across this listing online. I am so glad that we did. We enjoyed a baseball game one evening at Peoria Chiefs. The drive was about 35-40 minutes away from this location. Our only drawback of this cabin was the TV functions. It would have been nice if there was Dish access. The cabin itself was very clean and properly maintained. It had everything we could possibly ask for. Our kids enjoyed the Infinity table most. We used the grill, which was great. The kids enjoyed the hot tub. We have stayed in many cabins over the years.

Terrific Secluded Stay Away!

We were visiting Normal IL for our daughters competition in Special Olympics. Hotels were full and fortunately fell upon this terrific stay. Very accomodating and a very pleasant get away. Thanks for your hospitality!

Graduation Weekend

Great getaway spot and outdoor hosting area for small gatherings. We loved the property and it offered a perfect retreat from a busy weekend to relax and host a celebratory gathering. Host was fantastic, responsive and accommodating. Glad we found this retreat for future visits.

Perfect day away

The place was super cute! We loved the location and space! It was clean and have everything we needed, from towels to kitchen tools. It was a perfect get away to catch up with friends! If I had to make a suggestion for improvement, the only thing might be to add a curtain or tarp of some sort on the awnign build around the hot tub, that can be rolled down to help block the wind or light rain. But we had an amazing time without it!

Birthday getaway for 5 year old twins

Enjoyed the house with my husband and 3 small kids, and celebrated our 5 year old twins’ birthday with a little cookout. Very cute and clean. Great communication with host.

Amazing Getaway

This was the perfect getaway for a winter stay! The A frame was so spacious and clean, a true home away from home. Staying after a fresh snow was beautiful and the hot tub was the cherry on top. The perfect balance between relaxing and playing games on the infinity table, making meals in the spacious kitchen, and making memories together!

A stunning property in a stunning location gave us exactly the time of rest we needed.

Our family has just had the most incredible stay at Hidden Grove. When it comes to the property itself, we expected a cosy, quiet place in the woods for us to relax before leaving the US to head back to the UK. We got that and so much more. The property is beautiful and filled with so many comfy places to relax and drink in the silence. But it’s also got everything from a games tables, a swing and corn hole for the kids and a fire pit, fire table and hot tub for the grown ups. Kimberley was an awesome host, she has set up a seamless and stress free procedure for booking, arrival and departure. Every question we could possibly have, was covered and so all we had to do was arrive and enjoy. And that’s exactly what we did. We LOVED our break at Hidden Grove and we absolutely plan to book again in the future. It was exactly what we needed.

Very nice vacation hideaway

My two daughters (ages 10-12) and I really enjoyed our 3 night stay. We loved the game table, hammock, swing, hot tub, kitchen and all of the nice seating areas. The appliances and furniture are top notch and functional. I did not give it a five star rating because of the air conditioners. It might seem like a small detail, but they window units in the kitchen and bedroom. They were so loud when they were on that we couldn’t hear each other talk in the kitchen and, in the bedroom, it would wake up the person sleeping next to the unit. I would suggest wall mounted units. Overall, the property is gorgeous and a great location. Thank you!

Fun, comfortable & such a neat place!

Great accommodating hosts with great communication! I’ve been wanting to stay here for over a year since stumbling across it & It sure did not disappoint & was even better in person. We all enjoyed the game table & outside amenities including the hot tub & hammock! Beautifully decorated & so cozy! No negatives or suggestions! Y’all nailed every detail.

Spring Break Getaway

We had the most amazing time. So cozy and comfortable …it was perfect for our family. Super clean and exceeded our expectations. Lovely decor & great communication. The secluded location is a perfect way to unplug and recharge. We had beautiful weather so we really got to take advantage of the outdoor space. Lots of comfy seating, tons of space for my boys to play football and catch and frisbee with our dog. The hot tub was also fantastic and very clean. We treasure our uninterrupted family time and are so thankful we came across your listing. We made lots of memories, had lots of laughs and hope to visit again soon. Relaxing

My husband & I booked this quiet little place for a weekend getaway. It was very relaxing! The place was super cute, clean & just what we needed to relax & unwind. Hot tub was a bonus! Loved it because it was pet friendly which you can't find in most places. I 💯 recommend for a nice getaway close or even further from home!

Relaxing and Enjoyable Stay

Our stay at Hidden Grove was wonderful for a low key, relaxing, and outdoor experience as well! The amenities fit us -- just two of us -- perfectly for this trip. We played a few games on the game table, enjoyed the fireplace indoors, and spent a few hours in the hot tub under the stars. We took a walk down the quiet back roads and visited the local nature preserves. We will come back if we have the opportunity and can find another time when the price is right. There is much more to do and much more space for more than two people.

Great getaway

The house had pretty much everything you could need for cooking and lots of little extras. Very cute and charming house secluded in a country setting. We were so happy to come across such a clean and comfortable property where we were able to bring our dog who enjoyed getting to join her humans on a weekend getaway :)
