We take cleanliness and guest experience very seriously, so we were surprised to read this review. Our cabin is professionally cleaned and prepared before every stay, and our many years of positive guest reviews reflect the care we take to maintain the property. We live nearby and personally check the cabin before each guest to ensure our high standards are upheld. The guest contacted us around 2:00 AM stating they planned to leave. We responded promptly the next morning and offered to refund the remaining night if the reservation was canceled through VRBO so we could reopen the dates and attempt to rebook the cabin. Unfortunately, the reservation was never canceled, which meant the dates remained blocked and unavailable to other guests. Several weeks later the guest requested a refund. We always try to be fair and accommodating when issues arise, and we encourage guests to contact us immediately during their stay so we can resolve concerns right away. Our goal is always to provide a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable stay at a very fair price, and we remain proud of the consistent positive experiences that the vast majority of our guests have had at the cabin.
