Thank you for the kind words regarding the home’s comfort and neighborhood. We genuinely aim for a 5-star experience, and I’m sorry that several technical hurdles—compounded by the holiday week—made your stay stressful. Unfortunately this time, we did experience a ‘perfect storm’ of issues: the cold snap prevented the pool heater from keeping up, and the propane running low during the holiday closures. As soon as this was clear, we proactively issued a full $700 refund for the heating fee to ensure the guest wasn't charged for a service that wasn't performing to our standards. Regarding repairs, we worked diligently to find a technician willing to work during the holidays; while we wish the sink repair could have happened sooner, we were glad to finally get a plumber out to flush the system. We have since addressed the front door connectivity and the appliance issues mentioned, but as these were first time reports for us, repairs took time to close. We take all feedback seriously and have used this to audit the home’s setup (including extension cords and lighting). We appreciate your patience and are glad we could at least get you settled in an hour early to start your trip.
